Sitting room with two double sofas set around a large woodburning stove. TV with Freeview and DVD player. There is a good selection of books and games, as well as children’s toys and DVDs. A large south-facing window looks out over open farmland to the Cheviot Hills.

Private parking for 2-3 cars is available directly in the gravelled courtyard to the front of the cottage. Motorhomes and caravans are not permitted.
Garden and grounds
There is a small patio area to the rear of the property which leads out onto a communal garden in this small courtyard of 5 converted properties. There is a patio area with picnic table to the front of the property and a large lawned garden which can be fully enclosed for the safety of children. A barbecue for guest use can be supplied on request.
Lockable storage can be made available for bikes and outdoor gear if required.
The property sits in a small courtyard of converted steading buildings. The access road leads to an adjoining property but otherwise there is no through-traffic.
The cottage is strictly no-smoking.
