Newly refurbished 2 bedroom apartment with amazing view.10 minWalk to Old City.

A stunning apartment, with spectacular city , Adriatic sea, and district views. Located on the top floor of a modern 4 story building (main entrance from level 2), in a great and safe location in Dubrovnik, close to old town. The two double bedrooms, bathroom, plus WC and kitchen will comfortably accommodate 4 guests, just 10 minutes walk from the Old City. Even that apartment is on 4th level, there is no lift, since the main entrance starts from level 2.

A beautiful panoramic view from the balcony across Dubrovnik, the Adriatic Sea to Lapad Bay and the islands beyond will make your stay memorable. The balcony is shaded and its perfect for watching the sunset over stunning Adriatic, and wonderful big sailing ships passing by.

The apartment is air-conditioned, light, airy and nicely furnished, giving the apartment a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

In the surrounding areas, Banje beach is within walking distance, as are grocery stores, bakeries and a local bus stop. The airport is less than thirty minutes by car or bus. Parking is available ONLY for a small car. Alternatively, city garage parking is three minutes walk from the apartment, but please check the price on the web page of Dubrovnik public garage. The price change throughout the season and can be quite pricey.

This apartment is fully equipped for 4 people, and only the number of people specified in the booking confirmation are permitted to stay. Only guests are allowed to stay overnight or use the facilities without the express permission of the host. We have the right to enter the apartment without notice or permission of the guest, but only where there is reasonable suspicion for danger to the guest or apartment. If you decide to terminate your stay earlier, you must pay for the entire reservation. The price for the apartment for the whole period needs to be paid within the first day of your stay.

Guest Access

The apartment is kept in neutral tones, this apartment comes with many first-rate amenities such as complimentary WiFi or WLAN, Satellite LED TV, WIFI speaker, spacious living spaces, comfortable bedrooms, and an excellently equipped kitchen.

The kitchen includes: dishwasher, cooker, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, plates and glasses, and cooking utensils are all supplied!

There are chairs and a table on the balcony to enjoy the view. There is a tea, coffee, milk, water, and fruit for you to get you started. Also rakija (Croatian brandy) to welcome you.

The Bedrooms:

#1 - master bedroom with a queen size bed

#2 - bedroom with a two single king size beds

Your room has comfortable beds with a excellent mattresses, and you will find plenty of space in the wardrobe and on the shelves.

Bed linen and fresh towels are supplied for your comfort, and spare linen is provided.

The Bathroom: Very well presented with washing machine, hair dryer, toilet and shower. There is an second, separate toilet as well.

An iron and ironing board are also supplied.

If you came by plane, you can take Airport bus and some local buses from the main road, to go to the Dubrovnik main bus station. From there you can get bus number 8 to “Ilijina Glavica”, and walk to the apartment.

We can arrange transfer to/from Dubrovnik Airport for additional fees, to our guests, please ask me upon your confirmation.

There is a free parking place ( small car only) in front of the building allocated for this apartment. Please note that parking in and around Old Town parking is metered. It is recommended to walk or use the bus around the city, which would eliminate driving stress and parking problems. You will find the bus time table in the apartment.

HOUSE RULES

The basic house rule is 'Please look after this home like it is your own” We therefore kindly ask you to respect our privacy and to read these rules carefully.

Upon arrival at the apartment, please submit your identity card or passport to the host for registration in local tourist biro ( Croatia law)

We are not responsible to clean the apartment while you are there, but during your stay please keep it clean and tidy. Bed linen is included and changed every 7 days. There is a spare set of linen in the cabinets, as well as towels. It is not permitted to take our towels to the beach, so remember to bring your own beach towels.

Smoking, Alcohol.

Please take note that you are staying in a NON smoking apartment. You may only smoke on the balcony. Use of large amount of alcoholic drinks and other intoxicants in the apartment is strictly prohibited.

Electrical Appliances

Please remember to turn off all electrical appliances including the air-conditioning, lights when you go out. Do not run the air-conditioning while the windows are OPEN. Please close the shutters while you are out to prevent exposure to sun or rain. Furthermore, it is not permitted to bring electric appliances into the apartment without the host's permission. This rule does not apply to electric appliances for personal care.

Rest hours

Since that there are other people living in the building the rule of being a good neighbour always applies. There are no restrictions as to what time guests can come and go. It is common courtesy to be quiet if you are returning late at night. We kindly ask you to avoid any noise between 10 pm and 6 am. Also please avoid noise during day time hours, as other residents might be having rest at this time (siesta). In case of complaints by neighbours regarding loud music, parties on the property, or if they have called the police, you may be asked to leave the apartment immediately, regardless of time of day (or night).

Damage

Please inform us of any damaged item so that we can repair or exchange it. Guest who intentionally or accidentally damage (if not very little damage) will be charged for repairs. If you lose the keys, you will be charged for door lock replacement. The guest is not allowed to move the furniture or any equipment without special permission.

Pets

Pets are not allowed! Bringing pets without prior announcement is not allowed, we have the right to cancel accommodation.

We disclaim any liability for personal belongings and items of value left in your room. Please lock the apartment when you leave.

Check Out

We kindly ask you to vacate the premises the day of departure by 10:00 am so that it can be cleaned and made up for the other guests who come after you. They have the right to enter by 14:00 pm. Late check-out (after 10.00 am) must be organised with the host at least 2 days before your departure. If we have no one arriving on the day of your departure we are happy to be flexible, as well as for your check in. On a late check out we also can storage your luggage for your convince. Keys must be returned at the end of your stay.

Interactions with Guests

You must inform us what time you will be arriving for your stay. We do not live at the same apartment block, so we need to meet you there. Short time window would be highly appreciated.

We will leave you alone, but if you need something email me please or alternatively you will have a phone number in apartment who to call.

We can come and check apartment in case of need.

Please note If you are booking 3 nights only 10 % for minimum booking apply.

About The Owner

I am originally from Dubrovnik where my apartment is, but now with my work I live away from Dubrovnik. I am a 40 something professional who is honest, trustworthy, organised, likes nice things, paying attentions to details and trying to keep that way for my guests.

My family are all still in Dubrovnik and they take care of the apartment for me :-) They will take good care of you too :) and we are always in touch during your stay ( thanks for great communications technology ) so you will never miss communication. My sister Senka is one that you will most likely meet during your stay.

Our parents, back in eighties and us now (my sister has another apartments as well), always had a place to rent, and we loved it. We have been thought integrity and respect. I’m deeply convinced that integrity and respect is an essential part of any apartment renting experience, on my part as a owner and on your part as guest.

We love meeting people from different parts of the world and love to travel too...

My property is advertised as it is, no more no less. You will find all what you see on my photos... view, clean, newish furniture, pictures on the wall..ect and most of the time I get comment that it is better in reality then on photos . View is spectacular!

Incredible panoramic view, great central location, high end quality fittings and equipment.

Four of us stayed in early June 2018. We received a very warm welcome and were very pleased that there were several provisions so that we had no need to go shopping immediately, including wine and milk in the fridge, jam and homemade grappa, even things like washing up liquid, shower gel etc. All very welcome. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard including a fabulous kitchen with Smeg gear throughout. The kitchen was so good that we cooked a lot of our evening meals there which saves a huge amount on eating out, which can be quite costly, especially in the old town itself. We found that the best way to get around was Uber, just make sure you're on a main road near a landmark when you order, as some minor roads are not on their system. We found the cheapest supermarket to be Maxi Konzum, although the price of wine was the same in the local store which is called Pimo. Be sure to realise that there are lots of steps in Dubrovnik, we soon realised that an Uber from town was the best, especially in the hottest part of the day to avoid most of the 373 (we counted them) steps. Would we go again? Absolutely. Would we stay at this apartment? Most definitely. Highly recommended.

Great appartment in good location

Lovely, clean, quiet & well furnished appartment in a good location for exploring the Old Town. Great balcony for relaxing on. We would definitely recommend staying here & hope to return in the future to explore more of Dubrovnik & the fabulous islands near by.

Well equipped lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay - the airport pick ups and drop offs went really well and we were met by the owners sister who showed us round. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped- we loved Dubrovnik. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the old city and 20 minutes on way back due to uphill and number of stairs. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony- only small negative is proximity of main road which can be heard from balcony, otherwise perfect- would recommend.

Perfect for us

Have just spent a lovely few days staying at this apartment. The apartment is exceptionally clean, all the beds were comfortable, a good shower with no lack of hot water and with a lovely balcony to sit out on with views over Dubrovnik and the sea. The apartment is up on the hill but well worth the climb up the steps. Just take your time and enjoy the views.

Airy, beautiful apartment with fantastic view!

This apartment was beautifully appointed and had an amazing view. We stayed 3 weeks, the weather was less than perfect, but it was wonderful having such a pleasant place during the rains. Others have noted, but you must know it is a long hike to the old city, almost a mile. We didn’t mnd as it helped counter the wonderful food and wine. It was so quiet and peaceful. There are two grocery stores close by, with great selections of meats, cheeses, and produce. We cooked in several evenings and always has coffee and breakfast in the apartment. We highly recommend Bar Bota for oysters, Azur for interesting Asian fusion, YC Orsan for lovely lunch. And, you must go to D’Vino Wine Bar and take the wine country tour with Sasha! A beautiful apartment!

Within the walls of the Old City there are many other places of interest, all within an easy 10 minute stroll. Highlights include viewing the Old City Walls, the Dubrovnik Aquarium, and Gundulic Square-a lively colourful market place.

The Old Town is also the starting point for day trips to the many surrounding islands. The ferry to Lokrum departs every 30 minutes, where you can enjoy the beautiful botanical gardens, explore the monastery, relax on the peaceful beach, or dine one of the delightful restaurants.

To the north of the Old Town, you are able to take a cable car to the top of hill to experience fabulous panoramic views of Dubrovnik and its surrounds whilst enjoying a coffee or light meal.

Each year the Dubrovnik Summer Festival is held between 10th of July, to 25th August, famous for nationwide for its exquisite selection of drama, plays and concerts of chamber music.

A non-refundable deposit equivalent to one night accommodation is required at time of booking to secure your reservation.
The balance of the entire stay is to be paid on a first day of your stay, or you may wish to pay full amount in advance prior to your stay.
