4 Mango Court: Porters, St. James

4 Mango Court is a self catering holiday apartment, within the development of Mango Court, which has just four residences. Mango Court is located on the very desirable west coast of Barbados, on the opposite side of the road to Queen’s Fort, in the parish of St James, in a safe and secure, undisturbed cul-de-sac.

The apartment is an easy stroll away from the beach at Heron Bay and at Alleynes Bay, and just a short drive from Holetown and the new Limegrove Lifestyle Centre. Nearby there are top class golf courses (Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland), tennis courts and a wide choice of restaurants to please the most discerning diner. At the nearby beaches you can enjoy the calm, turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea. The west coast beaches are generally calm with gentle waves, perfect for water sports, swimming and snorkelling and boat trips. There is much to do and see in Barbados – so if you can tear yourself away from your sun bed, you can experience an island tour, scuba diving, swim with sea turtles, horse riding or visit any of the historic National Trust properties or beautiful botanical gardens. There are regular farmers markets and lots of local, organic produce available.

4 Mango Court is modern and stylishly furnished and is an ideal, well equipped holiday rental apartment – a perfect home from home in paradise. It is on two levels (ground floor and first floor) and it offers wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces for you to enjoy Caribbean living at its best; all overlooking the sparkling blue communal pool.

The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances, everything you need to cook up some fabulous food; perhaps using some traditional Bajan ingredients. Al fresco dining day or night is always an option in the pleasant Caribbean climate.

All three bedrooms have a/c, ceiling fans. The bed configuration is as follows:

Master bedroom - first floor: en-suite bathroom with private balcony. UK Super King Size bed (6ft wide). TV and safe.

2nd Bedroom - first floor. Shares family shower room (located on first floor) with UK Super King Size bed (6ft wide)

3rd Bedroom – ground floor. Shares family shower room (located on first floor) with 2nd bedroom. UK King Size bed (5ft wide). TV and safe.

Hurricane electric shutters are hidden above the large door and windows on the ground and upper floors and they make it easy to secure the property at night, and when open in the daytime, allow maximum sunlight into the apartment.

For your communication and entertainment requirements, wireless internet access is available along with cable TV. There is a telephone land line for making and receiving local calls free of charge. Incoming international calls are accepted, outgoing international calls are barred.

There is off road parking available and should you wish to hire a car, we can happily provide you with prices. Driving in Barbados is on the left hand side. It’s a small island (24 x 15 miles approximately) and you can easily drive around it in a day.

A hidden gem!

I may be reviewing 4 Mango Court a few months after my stay but the wonderful memories are still very much front of mind.

The beautiful spacious villa provided everything we needed: a fully furnished open plan, serviced apartment with conditioning throughout,

this stunning home proved to be a home away from home! The wonderful pool was a welcome respite after a day of shopping, and early in the morning, it provided a nice change from the beach.

It was lovely having the beach within walking distance and the shops and restaurants so easily accessible by bus, and if you fancy staying in, the BBQ facilities provides another great option.

4 Mango Court has everything you will need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday and i highly recommend it!

Fantastic villa close to everything!

4 Mango Court is in a lovely gated complex of 4 villas surrounding a communal swimming pool. It's less than a 5 minute walk from a gorgeous beach and close to all the amenities of Holetown and the rest of St James.

The house is airy, spacious and very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. There are loads of beach and bath towels so no need to bring these.

Geoff, the manager is hugely helpful and is really knowledgeable about everything! He's happy to help arrange tours, give advice about restaurants, in fact anything you need.

I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Barbados and highly recommended it!

A magical stay in Barbados

Great holiday in Barbados, our accommodation was excellent, an open plan apartment that fitted the needs of our family. It was great having the pool on the doorstep and the apartment is close to the beach and Hole town.

I'll definitely be returning.

Lovely holiday accommodation and location

Although I'm reviewing a few months down the line the memories linger of this superb town house. The accommodation provides everything you'll need for a stylish yet comfortable stay. Lovely pool and patio area where you can relax on the very comfortable sun beds. They say location is important and this just perfect for either a short walk to the beach or you can catch a bus just a stride away. You'll be spoilt for places to eat where there's a range and styles to choose from. This gets the thumbs up for sure!!

Fabulous Holiday

The exceptional welcome by Mary was a great start to a superb holiday. Our accommodation, 4 Mango Court, St James is excellent and I fully recommend!!! It is fully aircon, tasty decorated, open planned and comfortable. The first floor veranda was great to enjoy our sundowners. The outside area house comfortable sun loungers, shaded or open, the pool close by. It is centrally located between Holetown, which is walkable, or further onto Bridgetown by bus. In the opposite direction is Speightstown, buses pass frequently nearby. Access to the beach is easily reached by various areas, Folkestone Park, The Queens Fort, & Alleyne's. There are numerous places for dinning to match all pockets, Limegrove, Sea Cat, Just Chilling, The Fishermans, Speightstown are a few!!! Till the next time, yeah man!!!!

Fantastic luxury home from home

We visited Barbados at the beginning of the year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location of this stunning home was perfect for us, close to the beach - 'Alleyne's' which is one of the best beaches on the island. It's walking distance to the 'Limegrove' shops - where we also enjoyed great cocktails at the piano bar! Walking distance to Holetown shops and regular local buses that took us to Bridgetown.

Loved the open plan style of this home and we had the sun all day. Great pool and Alfresco dining area. We'll definitely be coming back to stay here. THANK YOU!!!!
