IGLOO is a modern apartment with 2 double bedrooms, and separate bunk beds, ski in/out. Astonishing views from the balcony with sunsets over Lake Geneva and the Swiss mountains. Open plan kitchen/dining area, family bathroom with bath, shower & hand basin. Separate toilet. The apartment benefits from electric heating in all rooms, WI-FI, LCD TV with UK & French channels. Private parking and dedicated secure locked room for Skis and equipment.
Perfectly situated, you are able to ski directly out of the apartment block and the local cable car, shops, restaurants and pub are only a one minute walk away! Lake Geneva, otherwise known as Lac Leman, is an interesting 20 minute drive down the mountain, so this area is ideal for both summer walking, cycling and swimming vacations together with skiing and other winter snow sports. Drive for about 30 mins and you are in the ‘Porte du Soleil’ - the largest ski/mountain bike area in the world, with a further 650 km of piste!
From the village of Thollon you can walk into woodland, uphill or downhill, with some of the best walks in the Haute Savoie region. One in particular is starred in the Michelin guide as an area of exceptional natural beauty and boasts the best viewing point for Lake Geneva together with the Jura mountains.
This apartment is finished to a high standard and comfortably sleeps 6 people, with 2 double bedrooms, bunk beds in the hallway and a toilet separate from the bathroom. Outside, there is a small balcony, with a table and seating, which has splendid views over Lake Geneva where you can watch the most spectacular sun sets.
The apartment also has a small lockable store room which allows safe storage of your skis and other personal items.
Inside, in the main living area, there is a flat screen TV, comfortable seating with a large dining table, six chairs and a well equipped kitchen containing a small oven, microwave and fridge.
The two double bedrooms are cheerfully furnished with plenty of cupboards/storage space. Two bunkbeds in the hallway are comfortable, can be closed away from the main sitting area and a travel cot is also available, if needed, for babies or very small children.
This apartment is well equipped with all bed linen and towels provided together with everything you need to cook meals, (but do let us know if anything is missing!) Additionally, Thollon has some reputable restaurants, a friendly bakery, speciality cheese shop and mini-supermarket as well as its cordial ambiance.
The owners live two minutes away in the village and are available to help whenever possible - to arrange transport from/to airport as and when required, provide food and drink for your arrival or anything else to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Thollon Les Mémises is perfectly located for all alpine activities, as well as benefitting from being in a tranquil, unspoilt location with easy access to beautiful Evian, Thonon and the remarkable Lake Geneva.
We have been visiting Thollon for the last 30 years and moved over to the village from the UK 2 years ago and now live in the village

Our apartment is perfect for Skiing in the winter and extremely well located to enjoy all outdoor activities in the summer, with the lake only a 20 min drive away
I had a very enjoyable four night stay in this lovely apartment with my 2 children. A well equipped kitchen, good wifi signal and TV plus comfortable beds and a spectacular view of the lake made our stay memorable. Situated close by to the shops and restaurants of Thollon with parking and easy access to the ski lifts. Will gladly stay here again when next back in the village. Many thanks to Mark and Sue who were nearby in case we had any needs or questions.

Il est agréable d'avoir à disposition des produits de base (car ce n'est pas tout le temps le cas...).
Elisabeth était disponible et accueillante.
Au final, ca répondait parfaitement à nos attentes.
Es ist eine schöne Wohnung mit grandioser Aussicht und sehr freundlichen Vermietern. Auch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft vor Ort ist einfach wohltuend. Einzig wäre es sinnvoll bereits von FeWo-Direkt eine Anschrift und die Mobilnummer der Vermieter mitzuteilen.
