One-bedroom apartment, central location, 24h security, balcony, pool and gym

This spacious (69 sqm), modern one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of the Rockwell building is the perfect base from which to explore everything Cape Town has to offer.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the lounge has a sofa couch (all linen and towels provided), making it perfect for couples and small families. The bathroom has a bath and shower with soap, shampoo etc provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all essentials including microwave, nespresso machine, washing machine and dryer. A spacious balcony with views of the harbour enjoys morning sun and offers a perfect relaxation spot after a long days’ sightseeing. Importantly, the apartment is on the quiet side of the building, facing away from the main street.

Our staff member, Gilbert, will take care of your dishes, washing and cleaning twice per week at no charge and more frequent servicing can be arranged on request.

Wi-fi is available at a small charge via a 3G modem.

Guests have access to the communal indoor swimming pool, gym and a secure, underground parking space.

The ground level of the Rockwell building has a coffee shop and attached is a sushi restaurant and an excellent French restaurant.

Please note that the apartment is privately owned within the Rockwell hotel with 24 hour security and a 24 hour manned reception desk, but it is not managed by the hotel.

With plenty of shopping and dining opportunities De Waterkant oozes urban chic charm and an enviable location – in the heart of Cape Town, close to the V&A Waterfront, the City Centre and the Convention Centre. Table Mountain is only a 10-minute drive away; Cape Town International Airport 15-minutes and the world-famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are 10-15-minutes away.

There is an excellent supermarket across the road from the Rockwell for all your self-catering needs.

Why Jonathan & Sophie chose Cape Town

Our apartment is comfortable and secure, with great facilities (including pool and gym). Best of all, it's in the heart of where you want to be - De Waterkant in Green Point, in the middle of the action! It's walking distance from the Waterfront and City Centre, with some Cape Town's top bars and restaurants just minutes away.

Perfect little condo for a few days in Cape Town

We spent 5 nights here just before Easter. The condo is compact, well laid out, clean, comfortable with everything needed including a washer and dryer. The location is perfect, a 10 minute daytime walk to the V&A Waterfront, a safe evening walk to several good restaurants. There is also a wonderful supermarket/liquor store complex across the street, free safe underground parking. Jonathan responded quickly to any communication and the per night cost was very reasonable.

We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable well equipped apartment in great location.

The owner, Jonathan was very helpful and accommodated our requests promptly. Convenient location with easy access to the Waterfront, Cape Quarter, city center and major motorways. Will stay here again.

Great country, great apartment!

My sister and I spent 9 days in Capetown. The apartment was very clean and corresponded to the pictures, we saw on the internet before. All rooms were equipped adequately. The location is very good. It's only a 10 minute-foot walk to get to the Waterfront. Around the corner of the apartment there is a supermarket and several different restaurants.

The apartments owners are very nice people, who answered quickly to our questions and always tried to help as good as possible. Also the hand-over of the keys worked perfectly.

In conclusion, we had a marvelous time in South Africa. We can definitely recommend the apartment as well as the country. Thank you again for everything. We'd really would like to come back.
