A magical destination for families, ideally suited to kids of all ages.

n the historic French village of Ognon this historic seventeenth century home offers all the comfort of 21st century luxury. Sleeping up to 12 guests across 6 individually designed bedrooms, the entire house stylishly furnished, boasting a large kitchen and grand dining tables for celebrations.

The gardens are a varied mix of sunny patio terraces, smartly manicured lawns, the walled garden, and the large private pool, all right next to the quiet village full of charm.

The house is ideal for family holidays, where you can wither while away happy days playing table tennis, trampolining, swimming, sunbathing on the terrace or walking in the village, the forest or make day trips to Paris and visit its monuments and boutiques.

The village of Ognon has kept its authenticity since the first Lords of Ognon took up residence. In 1526, François 1st took hunting expeditions in the area, right in the heart of the "three forests" Halatte, Ermenonville and Chantilly.

The house is also designed to accommodate business seminars and equipped with a dedicated room with a large screen, and catering for meals.

Chateau de Garmeaux is only 20 minutes from Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport and 50 minutes from Paris-Beauvais-Tillé Airport.

Entrance with a cloakroom and a bathroom. The ground floor has a large kitchen where you can eat (two tables, one for 8 persons, the other for 6 persons), a big "piano", two refrigerators; then a very large living room with a fire place, a piano, with view on the garden, many sofas and armchairs, and also an extendable table that goes up to 18 persons. All furnished with antiques, very comfortable and cosy.

On the other side of the stairs are two rooms, one with a large table for studying, writing or playing, and one with two sofas for watching TV, reading or playing video games.

On the first floor, four rooms and two bathrooms. One "suite" with a double bed and a simple bed, plus another room with two beds and a bathroom with a tub.

The other "suite" has a double bed in one room, and a large simple bed in the other. A common bathroom with a shower.

On the second floor, another "suite", with a room with one double bed and another room with twin beds, and two bathrooms with tubs (one is extralarge).

A 50 m2 room is dedicated to seminars. It can also be accessible for home cinema.

The beds have very confortable mattresses. Every double bed is convertible in twin beds. All bathrooms are brand new.

The garden is quite large with a big terrace and tables and seats and lounge chairs. Accessible trampoline, ping pong, flowers and trees. Large enough to play football. The heated swimming pool is well protected and very sunny.

Located 20 minutes from Roissy and 50 minutes from Paris, 6 km from Senlis.

An ideal spot from which to visit the beauties of the area, with the old town of Senlis, the castles of Chantilly, Pierrefonds Ecouen and Abbeys of Chaalis and Royaumont.

For children, Asterix and Disneyland Park are reachable in half an hour.

You can make a return trip to Paris in the day, to see the latest exhibitions, galleries, or do a spot of shopping.

The area is a golfer's paradise: Raray, Chantilly, Mortefontaine, whilst polo players and riders will be ideally suited as well with the nearby Stables Balagny, of Chantilly and Fleurines.

Many pleasant walks can be taken in the close by forests of Halatte, Compiègne, Ermenonville, Chantilly with Rousseau's Parc at Ermenonville.

For lovers of good food, do not miss the star restaurant in Chantilly and "Les trois canards" in Ognon.

If you want to go shopping, Chamant (3 km from Ognon) has fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, meat, fish, cheese and wine and you can buy your newspapers. You can also go to Senlis to the supermarket, Bio shop and small traditional French traders with specialties of the region. The owner can indicate where to find super fresh eggs and poultry, and where to find the best chef, if you need one!

Saint-Maximin is a big center for all kind of shops and fast food: Decathlon, Fnac,Truffaut, H&M, pharmacy, Volkswagen, etc.

To get to Ognon, your best flying to Roissy and renting a car. Or drive your car on the highway that goes from Lille to Paris, come out at Senlis, take the direction of Compiègne, turn right, cross Chamant and take Ognon's direction. You can also take the train any time of the day from Paris to Chantilly or Creil or Pont-Sainte-Maxence (half an hour), and then come by taxi (15 mn).
