Central location, spacious, clean, with accommodating hosts
We had a great stay. Six of us (three couples) shared this apartment for 9 days. We found the location to be convenient (close to favorite shops and places in Trastevere and also right on major bus and tram lines). The thick windows did a good job of blocking the noise from the Viale di Trastevere, and the kitchen was a great place to cook and discuss our daily adventures. Barbara was very helpful and solicitous throughout. All in all, an excellent place to stay.
Great neighborhood, great apartment
Barbara was a super helpful host. Apartment was great and the location WAS AMAZING! We’ve been to Rome on two other occasions and this was the most we’ve enjoyed it. It is walking distance to all the major attractions and gave us a more authentic Rome experience just by being in the neighborhood. Thank you Barbara!
The apartment is lovely and comfortable. Barbara was a great hostess and gave us a lot of info.
Trastevere is my favorite area of Rome. So many wonderful places to walk to—restaurants, historic sites, etc. We had a great stay!! Would go back to this apartment.
Barbara was a perfect host, she arranged transportation from the airport and met us at the apartment when we arrived. Was always accessible and responded quickly. The apartment was clean and well equipped and within walking distance of great restaurants, cafes and the Coliseum. Vatican was only a few miles to walk or a quick bus ride. Definitely recommend.
Great time in Trastevere
The apartment was clean and large enough to accommodate 4 adults and my younger son. We had everything we needed for our stay in Trastevere. We came to visit out son at the American University in Rome and were close enough to the school that he was able to stay with us and attend classes daily. Very convenient area within walking distance to all!. Few minutes walk to great restaurants, markets, pizza, nightlife. Taxi, grocery and taxi stops a few steps from the apartment. Short cab ride into historic Rome. Barbara was very helpful with arranging rides and helping us find things in the area.
Nice, clean and well-located.
Host met us early on our arrival date with sweet rolls and instructions. Very gracious. The apartment was very clean; and when we requested additional towels, someone brought them over right away.
Apartment has 3 bedrooms and a kitchen - no living room. There are two spacious bathrooms that could use towel racks on the walls or hooks for towels in the second bathroom. The showers had no place to put soap bars or shampoo except for the floor. A hanging holder for these items would be helpful.
We loved the location and walked everywhere.
We were always cold in the apartment and the temperature outside was in the 50's (farenheit). We turned up the heat and put on sweaters; but either the ceilings were so high and absorbed the heat or the heating wasn't strong enough to heat the apartment.
We were out and about most of the time; so the positives of the apartment outweighed the negatives.
thank you for reviewing
i am so sorry that you did'nt said to me that you where cold in the house.
i could have easily come to you and make it warmer for more time if you just have called or texted to me..there always somebody available to solve any little problem that may occur. it'is our job
Trastevere 'one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city'. Today Trastevere still retains its character through the winding streets covered with cobblestones overlooked by medieval houses. The night is filled with people, both Italian and foreign, thanks to the wealth of typical Roman restaurants, clubs and pubs, open-air bars, pizzerias, ice cream shops for every price range, always alive day and night. The house 'in the heart of Trastevere and all sites of greatest tourist attraction are very close and easily reachable on foot, with few bus stops to The Colosseum, the impeiali holes, Piazza Venezia, Campidoglio, Piazza di Spagna. The car of bus stops H and 8 are right in front of the palace. The H line through the center of the city 'and arrives at Termini Station, where trains leave for all cities' d' Italy. From Termini Station take the train to the Leonardo da Vinci Airport. The bus 8 through the center of the city '. Even St. Peter's Basilica and 'to 10 minutes with a taxi, the taxi station and' to the side of the building in Piazza Gioacchino Belli. In the area you can rent bikes and make the organized tour, if you want you can also rent a scooter. In the street beside you can 'make use of luggage storage. Arriving by car you can 'easily park under the house, or you can' park in has an open garage 24 hours to 400 m away. In Trastevere there 's also the only Botanical Garden of Rome very interesting. Each channel has a 'special attraction, we are in small squares, in narrow alleys, churches, squares with fountains. They say Trastevere "It 'a living picture ...."
