The City of Chester itself offers spectacular heritage, from Roman times through the English Civil War to the Georgian and Victorian ages. The property is situated on a small street of Victorian terraced houses, with the iconic and well-known Albion Inn on the corner. The street has been used for filming several TV programmes, including Foyle’s War as it offers an authentic Victorian street scene.

Visitors can also enjoy scenic bus tours in authentic heritage vehicles as well as a river trip down the River Dee. For the more adventurous, small self-drive boats are also available to hire.
