This air-conditioned one bedroom apartment is situated within El Capistrano’s beautiful gardens and it features a double bed. Bathroom with shower, towel warmer, and floor heating. Kitchen features a fridge-freezer with an icemaker and cool drinking water. Lounge with an open fireplace and a folding screen towards the patio with sun loungers, sunblind, and barbecue. Once you open the folding screen, the lounge and patio make a lovely space with a sea view.

About Peter Landqvist

Born and raised in Sweden, where the winters are long lasting. The constant dream of owning a home in a warmer climate has finally taken shape now. The idea is to move there permanently in a few years’ time.

Why Peter Landqvist chose Nerja

After our first visit to Nerja in 2008, we used to come here at least once a year. Nerja really has everything a Spanish city can offer. No concret desert with the lack of original features, not easy to find among these sun-drenched shores. We quickly concluded that this was the right place for us to live. Additionally, the surrounding area featuring the Sierra de Almijara is fantastic. It also protects us from the cold north wind, which is why the winters tend to be mild and rarely below 15 degrees.

What makes this apartment unique

The whole Capistrano Village was built in this fantastic and charming Andalusian architectural style. When we entered the apartment for the first time, the magnificent view took us by storm. The now refurbished floor matches the style of the patio and creates a sense of unity.

Nice place to stay

Located up on a hill with views out to sea. It is well equipped with modern furniture and fittings - including air-conditioning, an induction hob, a big fridge-freezer and wifi. The toilet and shower are particularly compact. Nice location. Fairly quiet. There's a bus stop very close by, but we chose to walk into town for an evening - which is a 30 minute stroll. The apartment is part of a Capistrano 'urbanisation' which features great swimming pools. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely apartment

My husband and I spent a lovely week in Nerja. The weather was beautiful and the apartment was excellent with a great balcony with views out to see. A few minutes from the pool and a 15 minute walk to beach. Peter was great and very helpful. Enjoyed the tapas trails and the views from la balcon were amazing. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful apartment with nice wiews! My son and I stayd for a week and went to the pool nearby and the sea. Nerja is really nice. We will return.

Väldigt fräsch o fin lägenhet! Lugnt o skönt område!

Vi var 3 personer som hade underbara dagar i Nerja i denna mycket fräscha o fina lägenhet. Dörrarna som gick att öppna upp helt mot terassen var toppen. Gjorde att även rummet kändes större.. . Utsikten från terassen var magisk o perfekt m markisen. Lögenheten inte stor men hade allt vi behövde. Dessutom ovanligt sköna sängar för vara semesterbostad i Spanien. Rekommenderar verkligen denna lägenhet

El Capistrano village is a beautiful, well-preserved place featuring extensive gardens. The closest pool is only a 2-minute walk from the house. Additionally, there are bars, restaurants, and a small marcadona selling anything you will need. Another big market with a meat and fish counter is a 5-minute drive away. Walking to the nearest beach Playa Burriana takes around 15 minutes. The beach has been marked with the blue EU flag. There are many bars and restaurants, sun loungers are for rent. Ayo’s Restaurant serves paella cooked in huge bowls over an open fire. Ayo was amongst those who found the Cueva de Nerja Grotto back in 1959, which is well worth a visit. There are a number of beaches surrounding the city centre. The Old Town is about a 25-minute walk and if you do not feel like walking, you can take the bus. The stop is only 30 metres from the house. Of course, you can always get a taxi, too, and it is about EUR 5-6. Restaurants and shops are mainly spread over two crossing streets, Calle Almirante Ferràndiz and Calle Pintada, on the way towards Balkong de Europa, Nerja’s big square. It is not difficult to find a decent place for dinner and drinks since there are around 300 bars and restaurants to choose from in Nerja. There is a market on Tuesdays (mixed goods) and Sundays (flea market).
