A great place to stay

We stayed for a long weekend . The cottage was lovely and cosy and a great location for enjoying walking in the Fells. We enjoyed the log burner and slept really in the comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning property and surroundings

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely place! So pleased we chose to stay here, it’s an absolute gem of a find.

Anne and Tim were there to greet us on arrival and helped us with our bags.

The cottage itself is much bigger than you’d think and is so well kept. The linen, the towels everything was top quality and my partner and I will definitely be returning.

what a beautifully appointed cottage whose owners could not have more welcoming to us and our dogs!

  • 5 of 5

set in the most gorgeous gardens of the main house, this cottage is cosy, with beautiful linen on the beds, and both bedrooms ensuite, together with a shower bathroom perfectly suitable for a disabled or elderly guest to use. our hosts Anne and Tim were so helpful from the moment of our arrival, helping with luggage and pointing out the details of the cottage - heating system, cooking with an aga, bins etc. There is a housebook which holds laminated maps for walking in the area and other points of interest. I would highly recommend this cottage for a stay.
