The main floor has 2 separate entrances – one from the patio into the kitchen/area and one from the lawn area to the open concept dining and living area (the original Church entrance and original door). The top floor has 1 bedroom with and en-suite bathroom with shower, the other 3 bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. One of these bedrooms has an adjacent balcony. There is a gorgeous view from the “Church” Tower (available 2016 season).
FABULOUS! Let me start by telling you about the house since that is why you are staying there. It has plenty of space, rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable and the entire house gives you "home" feeling. I would strongly recommend staying there. We would love to rent for a month ! Having the owners near-by, Grazia & Nicola was great. They could not have been more helpful, especially having a flat tire on Sunday (EVERYTHING is closed on Sundays) where Nicola went above and beyond with taking the tire to a friend and had it fixed so that we would not miss out on a day of site-seeing. We also chose to have and evening where we had Grazia make my husband and I dinner, OMG, it was delicious and we were stuffed.........what an amazing home-made dinner she and daughter-in-law made. We would love to go back and take the entire family. I would rate it **** stars. Thanks again! Jan & Ed
You are very near the rich artistic and historical heritage towns of Siena and Florence along with San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca, Pisa and Le 5 Terre that make great day trips. As this is Chianti country a few notable suggestions are: The new architectural phenomenon of the Antinori Winery in Bargino (tours and restaurant), Fonterutoli, Lilliano, Cesani in San Gimignano, Terrabianca in Radda, Badia di Coltibuono and Castello di Brolio in Gaiole, Dievole in Vagliali and Scoperto near Siena. Don't forget Montalcino, Val d'Orcia (Bagno Vignone and San Quirico) and Montepulciano (on the way to the province of Umbria). Chef/Cook/Catering on request to the Property Manager. Panzano is most famous for Dario Cecchini, the 'Crazy Butcher'.
