This apartment is extremely well located, just a couple of blocks north of Oxford street & Hyde Park, in the trendy Media & Fashion area of Marylebone . It is within walking distance to many London attractions. The street is quiet at night, yet moments away are some excellent of bars, restaurants and shops, in an area with lots of charm, character and history.

This apartment is a perfect central London base. It is a good size one double bedroom apartment with kitchen, bathroom and lounge and sleeps 4 comfortably. The apartment is stylish, modern and has been recently decorated/furnished to a high standard. There is a comfortable lounge with open plan well equipped kitchen with large dining table. The lounge has a flat screen TV and 2x single sofa beds. The bedroom has a large double bed, with plenty of storage space.

There is a cot available for babies. No smoking or Pets are permitted. The apartment is set within a secure period building. With supermarket and local amenities just moments away.

The apartment is perfect for business travellers, families and visitors to London and is the perfect base to enjoy central London life, in a vibrant neighbourhood.

Left on 11/10/2015 for a stay in October 2015

The flat was extremely comfortable, and all the amenities were in great working condition. Ideal for stay, as there's the Marble Arch tube station only a 5 minute walk away, a Santander bike stand just around the corner, the Paddington station a 10 minute cab ride away so as to make easy airport / inter city trips, lots of restaurants in the vicinity, and a Tesco a stone's throw away too. Was glad to have stayed here for a month.

Rude and disrespectful service

When you rent any luxury apartment (as stated on the property listing), one of the main requirements are to be able to sleep on a decent bed...wouldn't you agree? When we checked into our apartment on the 23rd December, hoping to experience a great Christmas in Marylebone, we realised that the springs of the mattress of the bed were worn down. This meant that my husband and I were unable to have a kind of restful sleep.

When we called the property manager on the 24th December (who by the way had said "please call me for anything"), to tell him of the 'mattress' problem, he said that there was nothing he could do just before Christmas, but would call back in one hour. Of course, we were not expecting him to create a miracle over Christmas, but at least provide us with a new mattress after Boxing Day. Not only did he never call back after 1 hour, he never called us back full-stop despite attempting to call him. We endured a horrible week of deprived sleep with my husband sleeping on a very uncomfortable sofa in the living room and me on the bed. We even tried to turn the mattress around to see if that would improve our quality of sleep but to no avail. We even discovered that one of the bed slats was broken.

The day before checking out, we called him again and no answer. He finally called us back to say that he forgot to call us back, however, there was nothing he couldn't have done as he didn't have the authority to made decisions. He also added that no one had ever complained before, but we were free to complain as he "didn't care."

We have rented many apartments in the past and never have we been treated in such a rude and disrespectful manner. To be honest, I'm lost for words and the owner of this property should not even be in the short-lettings business, as this involves the service of 'hospitality', which he clearly has no idea of what that means.

A deeply disappointing experience overall.

The host any guest would like to have, Mr Bergantino first priority is having the guest satisfied and insure all his needs will be answered. Apartments are located in excellent location right next to shopping centers, restaurants, gardens, museums, theatres and bars. with vast experience in hospitality and resorts i have no doubt any guest of Mr Bergantino will be extremely happy.. and "cerise sur le gateau" , the flat is very clean like a new one , and perfect for a family too because very quiet
