Wonderful apartment in great location
Casa Marmorata and Anna Maria were wonderful. Anna Maria was helpful throughout the process and is a lovely woman. She grew up in the apartment and has a great fondness for it. It is in a fantastic location with a supermarket near by an the bus stop across the street. I would highly recommend the Casa Marmorata!!
Sono felice che vi sia piaciuta la mia casa e che tutto sia andato bene. Per me è un piacere ospitare persone come voi .
Spero di incontrarvi ancora
Beautiful apartment with great connections to everything in the city
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay in Anna Maria's apartment in Rome. It was a large, beautiful, and very clean space, with all the cooking tools (and nearby grocery stores) we needed to make a few meals. It is located outside the main tourist area, which was nice for escaping the crowds, but it was still a short (~20 minute) walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum and it was also very easy to use public transit to get to everything else (bus/metro tickets could be purchased for 1.50 euro at a Tabacchi shop right beside the front door). Anna Maria was away but arranged for someone from Travel & Stay to meet us who was very helpful with getting us set up with all the information we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Rome!
We had a wonderful stay at Anna Marias flat. It is fully equipped, very clean and the communication went without any problems. Anna Maria welcomed us very friendly and gave us several recommendations for restaurants in the neighbourhood. Testaccio ist a really nice quarter and everything for daily life is just around the corner. Trams and busses stop directly in front of the house, the Metro is just a few meters away and Transtevere is within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay there and would always recommed the flat.
The apartment is in an excellent location near several markets and great restaurants. Access to all transportation is just across the street. The apartment is well situated, well equipped, roomy and comfortable and the host is most helpful. We love the terrace in the mornings for coffee. This was our second stay and we plan to return.
A spacious, ideal and very clean apartment with the most friendly and helpful landlady!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Anna Maria's apartment. She is a lovely woman and made us feel very welcome. We have been at many different Home Away residences and she was by far the most helpful and gracious owner we have met. Her apartment is well situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Our transportation was facilitated by the fact that we had a bus stop a few feet away from our residence. We also had a terrace off the kitchen which was great for drying our washed clothes. The bathroom shower had very low water pressure but other than that, everything was ideal! We highly recommend her property and enjoyed our stay very much.
Clean and quiet apartment in Rome
Rome was the last stop on our trip of Italy and we had 3 nights at this lovely apartment. Anna was at the apartment waiting for us when we arrived. We had no trouble communicating and she showed us around the apartment she grew up in. There are 4 air conditioners (1 per room) in the apartment however you can only operate 3 at a time. I say all this because we happened to be in Rome when it was 105 degrees Fahrenheit. We only ran 3 of the air conditioners as Anna advised and all 3 of us ended up sleeping extremely comfortably. The apartment stayed very cool and we appreciated the retreat from the heat. The apartment was exactly as pictured on the HomeAway site. We were a group of 3 on a girls trip and I thought two of us would just share one of the beds but the grey couch actually folded out into a comfortable bed. Anna provided sheets and all three of us had a bit of privacy. The apartment had a blow dryer which was really nice and worked well for all of us. It was the nicest blow dryer provided during our trip if that's important to you. We also took full advantage of the washing machine and I believe Anna provided detergent as well....we had our own. This apartment is not a super central apartment but we purchased bus passes and used this to get around and didn't mind not being in the heart of the city. In fact, this apartment is about a ten minute walk from a beautiful park that contains one of Rome's hidden treasures the Secret Key Hole. It's something that you shouldn't miss if you stay here. Anna provided tea and coffee and even had a bottle of water in the refrigerator for us. I truly cannot say enough good things about this apartment or Anna. She was prompt checking us out on Sunday and if I ever make it back to Rome I would stay in this apartment once again. You cannot beat the price!
