Location, location, location! If you're looking for accommodation in the heart of the beautiful historic city of Chester, our well-appointed cottage is for you. Situated next to the City Walls and the Roman Gardens, the Roman amphitheatre and River Dee are a few minutes' walk away. Close by are the many excellent shops, restaurants and bars that Chester offers. The accommodation itself is unique and is located in a conservation area designed to preserve the unique Victorian heritage of this particular part of the City. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms and accommodates 3 people (1 x double bed and 1 x single). There is a kitchen/ diner and living room downstairs, 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Outside there is a small paved area with seating where you can enjoy a glass of wine (or two) on a warm day. The property has recently been renovated and we have decorated the house in a warm, comfortable style so that our guests can relax and enjoy their stay. The house is well equipped with Wi-Fi, washing machine, coffee machine and good quality towels and bedding. Albion Street lies in a quiet and tranquil part of Chester despite its central location. We can provide those bringing very young children with a highchair and travel cot upon request. We are pet friendly but please email us before booking to check whether we can accommodate your requests. The cottage is small and generally there is a maximum of one dog allowed. We provide tea, coffee, milk and Prosecco (for stays of 3 nights plus). A Tesco Express is situated a few minutes' walk away for guests to purchase supplies. We live in Chester so are able to assist our guests if they need any information or help during their stay. We have also provided a comprehensive welcome guide for guests, recommending the best restaurants and activities that we have enjoyed recently. As the cottage is located in the middle of Chester City Centre, and close to the railway station/bus routes/taxi ranks, a car is not necessary to enable you to explore this beautiful city. However, there is on-street parking available with permits and we offer guests 2 days of parking plus 4 hours for check out day. If you are staying longer than 2 nights there is unrestricted on street parking close by, which we are happy to show you as well as a car park opposite. You cannot beat this cottage in terms of location. Most of the major things to do and see are within walking distance so you don't need a car during your stay. The cottage is located around the corner from the Roman amphitheatre, shops and restaurants of Chester. The Roman Walls and River are to be found at the end of the road. The cottage is located in a conservation area designed to protect and conserve the Victorian architecture and streetscape. The cottage has a small courtyard garden to enjoy a glass of wine on a warm day.

A tiny but lovely home away from home
Very convenient place to stay for 2-3 people. Right in the center of beautifull Chester.
This idarling little place is located perfectly for whatever it is you want to do. Close to Bridge Street. Close to the bus stop on Pepper Street and right by an entrance to the wall. We had a wonderful time. So much to do and see. The town is easy to get around and the people are friendly. This flat is as clean as can be. Just pristine. The owner is easy to deal with and very friendly. The on and off bus stops close by so you can acclimate yourself to the city. We had a fantastic time!
Lovely period property very central to all amities
Lovely, charming, period home very well kept...the house was cosy very comfortable it was just as described,right in the centre of Chester so no need for transport everything is within walking distance,having the use of parking permits was a plus,would stay again the owner Sarah was very accodating and easy to contact.

My daughter and I have just spent 3 lovely days here. The little extra touches from the owner, mixed in with the quality of the property itself made for a truly relaxing break. The beds and pillows were pure comfort, which is how I would sum up our stay at this lovely house in Albion Street.
Excellent position. Well equipped and comfortable
We had a great stay.It would be hard to find a better position.The house is a stones throw from the walls and 5 to 10 minutes of the town centre with various pubs and restaurants within 2 or 3 minutes. Ideally positioned for Chester itself and the Cheshire area.The house is well equipped with everything you will need . Loads of books and Dvds. Its warm and cosy with 2 very comfortable beds. Sarah is extremely helpful and a great host. We will definitely be returning.
The flat is only a few minutes from downtown Chester. The kitchen is functional and well equipped, but the living room is rather small. We enjoyed the little terrace. Our stay was very pleasant.
