4 Bedroom Villa, Sleeping 7/8 With Views Over Rivers, Mountains & Comares

Casa Rio is a comfortable and spacious villa sitting just below the amazing village of Comares, it has 4 great bedrooms. 3 Double bedrooms, 1 with en-suite. There is a bedroom with single bed and fold up bed which is suitable for children.

It is full of character and has mature and well planned gardens with sun and shade areas in equal measure.

There is a great 8 x 4 m Swimming pool, next to which is a great Bar room, with bar stools and table, Dartboard and small fridge. A shady seating area next to the pool with wicker seats provides a great escape from the midday sun. There are plenty of loungers around the pool area.

A great place for a family or group rural holiday in all types of seasons.


Fitted well equipped Kitchen: Fridge/Freezer, Gas hob/electric oven/Washing Machine/Dishwasher – there is plenty of utensils, plates, glasses etc. Air-con unit.

Dining Area: There is a large wooden table opposite the Kitchen with seating for 6 and 2 extra chairs if needed. Large dresser with plenty of storage space. Air-con unit.

Lounge: The lounge area is large and spacious with 2 sofas, UK T.V. wi-fi and Air-con. On the opposite end is a small office area, great for those needing to stay in touch whilst away.

Bathroom: With bath and separate shower cubicle, W.C. and sink.


Bedroom 1: Double Bed, with wardrobes, chest of drawers – Air-con

Bedroom 2: King size Bed, Plenty of storage areas, ceiling fan – Air-con

Bedroom 3: Double Bed, Air-con, ceiling fan. En-suite Shower Room. Doors to Terrace with table and chairs and wonderful views overlooking the Pool.

Bedroom 4: Single bed and another mattress underneath too, ideal for children.

A Great Value and spacious family holiday home , which will suits all needs and ages. Please do note this is rural Spain and once you come off the main roads you will be part concrete and part dirt. The last 10 minutes is a mixture of both, but if you just take it slowly, then all styles of cars have arrived at Casa Rio. The last part is so worth it for the tranquillity and environment.

Lovely secluded tranquil property

We stayed here for the last 2 weeks of June 2017 & loved it. The property itself was clean, cool & very well equipped (everything you needed in the kitchen) & the welcome pack of wine, bread, milk, water etc was much appreciated. The garden is stunning, lots of places to sit & admire the view, in shade or in sun - & the outside bar (with fridge) a real bonus. The pool is fantastic - necessary as it was very hot when we were there. The lack of light pollution means that the night skies are amazing, especially with Comares twinkling on the hilltop. David was very friendly & gave us good advice about where to go in the area. A lovely holiday & would heartily recommend it.

Super spacious well equipped villa with great pool

I had a lovely 10 days with my Mum, and a couple of friends who joined us for a weekend. The house is very spacious and comfortable; excellent well-equipped modern kitchen; and we loved the pool. The pergola was our lunchtime retreat during the hottest part of the day.

The track from the main road to the house is 4km and quiet narrow but perfectly drivable. The directions provided were good although some reverse directions back to the main road would be helpful (we got lost a couple of times!). It's definitely away from it all - the only shops are around half an hour away but the supermarket in Benmargossa is well stocked with everything you could want and there are markets on different days - we chose Riogordo where there was a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and salad/veg at amazing process. All in all, a lovely house which I would visit again.

Owner's Response: A lovely review from a lovely lady and her Mother who seem to totally understand what this great well equipped villa offers. You can cut up to the stunning village of Comares in less than 15 minutes but this is rural Spain and you have to be confident on some of the roads. The local shops and supermarkets are great value and this type of Villa lends itself to relaxing holidays and understanding what an amazing and great value area of Spain it is within 1 hour of Malaga. Many thanks once again.

One of the main attraction is the tranquility of the complete area and the feel of a step back in time which allows you to enjoy this special part of Spain and the added bonus that the near by village of Comares is unspoiled and stunning in equal measure.

The location is either perfect for simple relaxation or exploring the area with the numerous charming white villages on your doorstep, plus the beach only a 30 minute drive away.

If cities are your desire then the up and coming Malaga is only 1 hour and the amazing Granada just 2 hours.

This location is fully flexible in allowing you to see as much or do as little as you wish.
