A fabulous, luxury 3 bedroomed ground floor Garden Apartment - with its own private, enclosed garden overlooking the beautiful swimming pool - within the grounds of the Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club and the 18-hole (par 72) course designed by Seve Ballesteros.

The apartment is situated in the tranquil setting of Los Pinos, in a quiet cul-de-sac, with no disturbing traffic noise.

It is probably the best positioned apartment within the whole Los Pinos complex, with two south facing terraces with sun awnings, alfresco dining facilities, sun loungers and a private, enclosed garden with direct access to the large and beautifully maintained swimming pool and large tropical communal gardens! There is also a second, slightly smaller outdoor pool within the Los Pinos complex which is heated in the Winter months.

The living-dining area is spacious and tastefully furnished with modern furniture and a wall mounted Smart TV with access to over 1000 channels. Patio doors lead onto the terrace.

The terrace has a large patio table with real (as opposed to plastic!) rattan chairs, just perfect for al fresco dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as those most important ‘sundowners’! There are also 2 sun loungers available.

The kitchen is fully equipped with combination microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and stove with oven. Directly behind it is a small utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, clothes horse, iron & ironing board etc.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and shower. The terrace and garden is directly accessible through large patio doors.

The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower and toilet. One of these bedrooms also has direct access to the terrace and garden.

Full air conditioning and heating throughout the apartment.

High speed Fibre Optic WiFi (40mbs) is included.

Secure underground parking is included and there is additional outdoor parking at street level.

The entire apartment was completely redecorated and refurnished in mid-2015 to a very high standard with quality bespoke furniture, none of the flatpack stuff here!

The Golf Course is a 10-minute walk away (2/3 minutes’ drive) and includes a driving range and Clubhouse with a bar and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a Pro Shop, putting green, squash and tennis courts, gymnasium, sauna, bowling green and cash machine.

Los Arqueros is just off the Ronda road, in the foothills of the Sierra Blanca Mountains just inland from fashionable Puerto Banus (15 minutes’ drive) and the sophisticated resort and stylish shopping of Marbella (15 minutes’ drive). It has a good combination of high quality apartments and exclusive villas, with a tremendous mix of nationalities. The beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the beaches of San Pedro de Alcantara are a only a 10-minute drive away.

The town of San Pedro with all its restaurants and bars is just 10 minutes down the hill and Benahavis, known as the ‘gourmet capital’ of Andalusia with its countless restaurants, is just 10 minutes into the mountains.

Malaga airport is about 50 minutes away.

Born and brought up in Southern Africa, I've spent the last 20 years as an hotelier in the Speyside whisky region of Scotland until I retired in April 2015. I decided to buy an apartment in Spain and live there 'semi permanently' as the weather is SO much better than in the north east of Scotland and more like what I was used to for the first 30 years of my life!

Why Duncan Elphick chose West Costa del Sol

I like this location as it's close to everything but away from the madding crowds, night clubs, late night bars etc. San Pedro beach is 10 minutes away with it's long sandy beach and chiringuitos. Peurto Banus is likewise to experience the glitzy nightlife, cars and yachts of the rich and famous. Great restaurants are all around as well as really good 'value for money places' where the clientele is local. Marbella is only 20 minutes away, as is Estepona. Benahavis - the gourmet capital of Andalucia - is only a 10 minute drive away into the mountains. The Los Arqueros golf course is on the doorstep (well, 5 minutes away) and is a great test for any handicap.

What makes this apartment unique

I live in the property for 8 / 9 months a year, it is my personal home. The fixtures, fittings and furniture reflect this, being of top quality, and the majority of furniture made to order and therefore unique. When you stay here, you really are staying in my house. It's not just a cheaply furnished apartment for tourists!

I just wanted to say what a fantastic holiday we had, in July, at your beautiful apartment.

The whole apartment is so tastefully furnished that it could be in an interiors magazine! Having such beautiful surrounding made the holiday feel all the more luxurious. I was most appreciative of the abundance of towels, along with brand new pool towels, as well as a well stocked kitchen; cleaning products, toilet paper, even tea and coffee! It truly felt like I was in a home - and a well-loved home at that.

It was fabulous to have the pool within metres of the apartment; a swim followed by the luxury of sunbathing in my own garden was super...I didn't need to feel guilty drinking sangria at 1pm! The pool area (including the toilets there) were absolutely immaculate, as was the whole complex and we enjoyed a few meals at the golf club, as well as the bbq there. We also regularly visited Benahavis, which I love, just a short drive across Los Arqueros...lots of wonderful evenings out there.

Finally, the holiday may not have been as perfect, had it not been for Eileen. From her accurate guidance to find the apartment, through to being lovely, helpful and friendly whenever I needed anything - Eileen made the whole stay feel as though I had a good friend on hand.

I will be booking to stay again because it was a superb holiday. Rachel

Blissful holiday!

Wonderful apartment, very well equipped and comfortable. The pool was the best ever, wonderful to have such easy access from the garden. We have stayed on Los Arqueros several times, but this was the most relaxing week possible. Puerto Banus remains a favourite place; lovely dolphin watching trip from Estapona - despite no dolphins! Catamaran from Banus to Marbella also very enjoyable. We will certainly look to return! Thank you
