"Dimora Napoletana" is located in Naples in the heart of the Materdei district, on the third floor of a stately building built in the 30s where peace and tranquility reign.

Ideally located in the historic center of Naples, Dimora Napoletana is located in a place that in ancient times was the centerpiece of the literary, poetic, artistic and musical history of Naples.

Just over 50 meters "Dimora Napoletana" is surrounded by historic pizzerias in the city, where you can taste the true Neapolitan pizza.

In the immediate vicinity you can visit the well-known cemetery of the Fontanelle, the Basilica of the Incarnate Mother of the Good Council, the catacombs of San Gennaro, the Reggia of Capodimonte located in the woods, and more.

Because of its geographical location it is possible to reach very quickly business locations (Uff. Judiciary, Directional Center, the major banks and major public offices).

Continuing on Via Toledo you reach the heart of the city, in a concentration of streets, alleyways and neighborhoods that reflect the ancient customs of the city, one of which is the historic and famous Via Spaccanapoli.

Naples is a large bag of historical and modern cultures all around the "Dimora Napoletana"

"Dimora Napoletana" is central to mobility: metro service about 50 meters from the stable that connects with the various metro, taxi service and bus stop a few steps from the house.

The name derives from the church, of Renaissance origin, of Santa Maria Mater Dei.

The downstream area, ending with Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, it is the oldest, while the upstream portion was built mainly after the second World War with remarkable buildings and parks that are inspired by the traditional building style liberty of Naples the first half of the twentieth century.

Strangely the old part belongs to the Stella district while the more modern part of the Advocate district.

The streets of the old part of the district are the stunning backdrop of the episode Pizzas to the credit of the film The Gold of Naples, made famous by the interpretation of the pizza maker Sophia Loren: Via Materdei, via Sant'Agostino degli Scalzi (where from the terrace of one palaces widower Paolo Stoppa attempts suicide), the church of Sant'Agostino of the Discalced immortalized in all its pre-quake splendor. The exception is the road which housed the pizzeria, climb Porter San Raffaele, which although part of the old core of the district is covered by the Advocate district.
