About the property

3 Bedroom, 3 bathrooms full and shower room and 2 Balonies plus a large terrace

This lovely modern urbanization was built about 20 years ago and only contains 69 properties. Apart from the nice finish which the owners have lavished on the villa, it is spacious and airy with two balconies and a terrace.

The villa consists of : Downstairs:

A well fitted kitchen with hob and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and lots of Cutlery /utensils.

Open plan lounge containing seating for 6 and also a dining area with a table large enough for 6, also 2 ceiling fans, Leading off from this room is the terrace and loungers and table with chairs for alfresco dining.

There is also a downstairs toilet with shower


3 Bedrooms all with ceiling fans and 2 small balconies, the master bedroom has an ensuite with shower and between the other 2 bedrooms is a 2nd Bathroom with Shower.

Off the bedroom 2 is a small balcony, where you can sit and have that morning coffee. From Master Bedroom balcony part of the golf course, the Med and at night the lights of Caleta and Torre Del Mar can be seen.

The convenience of location coupled with the style of the property lends itself to being a rental for family holidays without the extra expense of car hire. Although I recommend the car hire to see more of this area.

If you can pull yourself away from the 2 large communal pools with their grass surrounds and the added bonus of a smaller children’s pool which is fenced for safety then you can walk less than 5 minutes to the nearby spacious beaches.

There are 3 large supermarkets [Lidl and Aldi], 2 very close but all are feasible to walk to. Also many family run Spanish / English/ German/ Danish bar/restaurants with great value “menus of the day ” for a few [about 12] Euros and drinks at amazing prices.

For the more energetic you can use there is the tennis court or if you fancy a lovely long walk, take the promenade from Caleta all the way to Torre del Mar [and past] or the other way to Lagos via Algarrobo either way coffee, tapas etc can be had.

The Villa has TV and DVD and also Spanish TV

There is safe and easy parking behind the electrically operated gate and in front of the garage, a major bonus in the peak months when parking can be an issue on the coast.

Caleta is traditionally a fishing town which although it has embraced the growth of tourism has not become so overpopulated to lose it’s identity and it sits comfortable between the bigger resorts of TORRE DEL MAR and Algarobbo, Torrex and NERJA [16 Kms away] and Velez Malaga [Working City] area nearby and worthy of visits.

It has a small non commercial port for many a private boat owner and fishing trips are available.

There is also a well established and excellently priced Saturday market where local produce and also great priced clothes sit side by side.

What can you do within a 5 minute drive :

Play 18 holes of Golf

Go to a water park in the main summer months.

Shop in a large air conditioned shopping centre [Eroski’s]

Visit the nearby coastal towns of TORROX and Velez Malaga

The only small negative is that the Villa is located next to a small school, part of the urbanization policy for the developers , as in giving something back to the community, this is not an issue in June July and August when it is shut but can mean a small element of noise during the school drop off and pick up times, but this is a very small price to pay for a great value place. Buses are plentiful and the main route through to Malaga every hour at less than 3 Euros. A stunning area, amazing price, well located and only 35 minutes from the airport by Car.

Bed sheets not clean

Good but we all received small spots due to bed bug bites - this was due to bed sheets not cleaned and washed properly

Owner's Response: Every one in and around Malaga has these spots Sand flies is possibly the Answer. We were bitten by Sand flies, mosquitoes and wasps when we went out to the house in Aug Sept and I know it was NOT BED BUGS as I turned the beds over and hoovered them all and used Clean Linen on the beds we used [ I previously did the same in March'17]. Lots of other people we met at the airport on the way home were bitten, a friend who went out in late March to Malaga said they bitten then. Also the beds are changed with clean bed linen within hours prior to your arrival. Refer to spain mosquito

Local British Legion TDM Wednesday 1200 - 1400Hrs at xxxxxxxxxBar. Enjoy the music and afternoon drink /tapa at the harbour bars after the visit to the Saturday Caleta Market.

Carry on to the next roundabout [ Aldi on the left you are now in Caleta de Velez ]

At the next roundabout turn left onto the N340, continue on straight, slow down now as you will be going over crossing bumps in the road now. Continue past the traffic lights zebra crossing and be prepared to turn left in about 100 meters.

Turn left and follow the road round [sharp blind right corner and wall] {You are now at the bottom of the Estate hill, a school entrance is very close by}

Turn right up the hill [you will need to be in 1st gear now] then at the junction turn left. On the left is the main school entrance and just past on the left are the Security Gates. Go 20/30metres further on should be a good parking place. Park up and go to the house, you will have to go back to the gates you just past. And walk up to the house, number 32, and meet up with Russ or Julie
