There are great views over Minehead town and to the foothills of Exmoor beyond. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the town centre, with all its shops and other amenities, as well as the famous West Somerset Steam Railway.Looking slightly further afield, there is plenty to do and see. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path, which starts in Minehead or inland on Exmoor, and there are many other places to visit to make a memorable holiday. Discover the Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and the Victorian cliff railway. Dunster Castle (NT) and village, with its beautiful terraced gardens, Deer Park and Mill, will make for an interesting day out, as well as Porlock Weir and the ancient harbour port of Watchet.
