Unique small double room FILLED WITH SOUTHERN LIGHT. High ceiling, original wooden floor, porcelain washbasin and tiny traditional balcony provide romantic and relaxing ambient. Characterful B&B + BIG PATIO for all the guests. Breakfast is included .

The Space

111 years ago this property was the first chocolate factory on the island. Today the Old Chocolate Factory provides characterful B&B with just 4 unique private rooms. BALCONY ROOM shares the beautiful bathroom and separate small toilet with 2 double rooms, the VATICAN and VERSAILLES.

We offer FREE high speed Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Large and beautiful bathroom is shared between 2 other double rooms + there is an additional toilet to share.

Old Chocolate Factory provides a traditional PATIO/GARDEN with small fountain for all our guests to enjoy. Breakfast included, and you are welcome to spend time in the breakfast/dining area, where each table provides a power plug.

Interaction with Guests

Our family lives in this huge old building, and we welcome you at the arrival to this CASA EMBLEMÁTICA, and are delighted to assist you should any questions arise during your stay. We are also happy to give local tips, make reservations for the restaurants etc.

The Neighborhood

On THURSDAY evenings there is a lovely happening here in Vegueta, mixture of public living room and a fiesta when around 30 trendy bars and restaurants serve delicious tapas + drink with just 1+1 euro. A splendid occasion to get to know the Canarian relaxed way of life, several pedestrian streets are packed with locals.

The picturesque VEGUETA and TRIANA neighborhoods are included in the tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and all our historic houses here are surrounded by restaurants, cafeterias, bars, art galleries, theaters and shops. Stroll along the narrow gobbled pedestrian streets where also the Columbus House, the Market hall, great museums and the Cathedral are all just minutes away on foot.

The great LAS CANTERAS beach is just a bike ride away, or a few minutes by bus, plus taxis are delightfully inexpensive.

Getting Around

Excellent bus network all over the city and the island, and taxis are inexpensive and easy to catch.

Other Things to Note

147 miles of coastline keep an ocean-full of possibilities to enjoy the sea. The finest weather adds to the island’s strong golf tradition, born back in the 19th century. The beaches here offer wide range of colorful fish to be admired by snorkel, and there are great places for scuba diving in the city.
