Although originally from Liverpool, I have lived in Bishop's Stortford in the South East of England for 28 years now. I am a Hypno-psychotherapist, in private practice and married to a GP. Between us we have six children(!) ranging in age from 25 to 14, so life is busy, but happy!
Jo O'Neill purchased this apartment in 2003
I remember watching a travel programme about Majorca, the north in particular and being surprised at how beautiful and relatively unspoilt the region was. Some friends had holidayed in Puerto Pollensa and extolled its virtues. An opportunity then arose to purchase an apartment as part of the final phase of the Bellresguard complex. My friend suggested this would be a great location for family holidays. I am so glad that I listened to his advice - we bought apartments next to each other and have had wonderful holidays out there since, watching our children learning to swim and dive in the pool although now they are a little more intent on developing an even tan! There is just something about this place. Sitting on the roof terrace or balcony, with a glass of wine, watching the sun sink behind the mountains... the short stroll to the Pine walk and the first sight of the sea, with the boats bobbing on their moorings and the sunshine glistening on the water, I just love this place and hope you will too.
The views do it for me! I never tire of gazing at the mountains or standing at different points on the roof terrace and taking advantage of an almost 360 degree view. I like that the property is situated at the quiet end of the Pine Walk, convenient for drinks on the terrace at the Illa D'or hotel, yet near enough to the busier part of the resort to be able to enjoy strolling along the Pine Walk for dinner at one of the lovely restaurants. The pool is a great place to hang out during the day, with a shallow end for young children, but its only a few minutes walk to the beach if sand and sea appeal more!
We had a great time the apartment was lovely it had every thing we needed .just one thing the BQ was rusty so we did not use it .we are only five minutes away from the beach it was great.we would love to go again. Carol sumner and friends
Stayed here for two weeks in May 2016 with my family. Jo the apartment owner was very helpful and accommodating and very easy to communicate with, prior to our stay. (Thanks Jo ) .
The apartment was lovely and clean when we arrived and IDEAL (cleaning firm) cleaned again during our stay which was a nice rest for me! We loved the white decor, made the apartment feel bright , airy and clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful.
Really appreciated the information booklet and leaflets, and used the translation book and the welcome hammer was welcomed very much. Plus the apartment had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen , from batteries , lunch boxes and cool bag, more utensils that i could name and fully working appliances.
5 mins walk to the beautiful pine walk and fantastic restaurants .
we will certainly be back!
If you would like to explore the area a bit more, the journey over the mountains to the beach at Formentor is a must or go the other way towards Pollensa and stop off at Cala San Vincence, a gorgeous cove with clear water and good snorkeling. Climbing the 365 steps at the old town of Pollensa is rewarded by stunning 360 degree views at the top (and of course an ice cream). There are great bars and restaurants here and a bustling market every Sunday morning.
