Banff modern, new apartment by the shore

The Banffshire coast with its numerous long sandy beaches is a great place for family holidays, perfect for outdoor activities or for someone to just relax and unwind.

There are a number of coastal villages and harbours to explore and lots of opportunities to sample the finest food and drink, especially local malt whiskies.

For more relaxed activities walking, wildlife watching, fishing, cycling and golfing are a few of the things on offer and for those looking for something a little more exhilarating kayaking, surfing, sailing and diving make an unforgettable trip to this part of Aberdeen-shire.

Accommodation & Facilities

Lounge: airy lounge/dining area offering views of the beach and Banff Bay, with plenty of seating, TV with Freeview channels, and dining table with seating for four. Bluetooth music speaker.

Kitchen: fully fitted kitchen with double electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, a range of cooking utensils, crockery and glassware as well as a coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave.

Bathroom: shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Bedrooms: one bedroom with king size bed and one with a double bed. Both rooms with built in wardrobes.

The apartment is located on the first floor, with all rooms on the same floor, and is accessed from a private car park where there is parking for one car. Additional parking can be found on the road adjacent to the apartment. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and parking in the private car park are all included in the tariff. There is gas central heating and hot water on demand.

Pets and smoking are not permitted within the apartment building.

Wonderful, would definately recommend.

We had a brilliant holiday at the Granary. The apartment exceeded our expectations and was beautifully presented. It was lovely to eat breakfast looking out at the sea. Its location is convenient for exploring the north east coast of Scotland and there is a Tesco within walking distance for provisions. (There is also a Coop nearby). There is private parking right outside the apartment block and the approach to the 1st floor apartment is spotless and looks recently refurbished (as does the apartment).

The Information panel about the history of the building is really interesting and there are plenty of useful leaflets to inform you of places of local interest.

I don't think the photos of this place does it justice. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a base from which to explore the Morayshire coastline. It was Fab. Thank you so much.

A truly lovely peaceful location

Apartment 8 The Granary Banaff was a beautiful spacious two bed apartment and everything we could possibly need was provided.

Tescos The Ship Public House was 2mins away and the famous Spotty Bag Shop was 3 mins away

From Apartment 8 the Highlands are in easy reach in a day.

For bird watchers and walkers this is an ideal location. The scenery is stunning and we enjoying a tranquil holiday

By car

From the east – as you leave Macduff on the A98 crossing the River Deveron bridge take the first right onto Bridge Street. Turn first right after The Spotty Bag shop the right again opposite Tesco. The Granary is the first building on the left in front of the Police Station.

From the west – drive through Banff on the A98. As you leave, passing the football field on the left, turn left just before crossing the bridge over the River Deveron. Turn first right after The Spotty Bag shop the right again opposite Tesco. The Granary is the first building on the left in front of the Police Station.
