For romantic getaways or family holidays, this villa offer privacy and convenience within the Provençale style luxury setting. Sleeps 6 (3 double bedrooms all insuite (+2 for occasional guests in private studio with own entrance) with air conditioning; Large garden, swimming pool, tennis/ football in the converted garage; walking distance to town; easy drive to the Riviera key attractions: Antibes, Cannes; Nice airport is only 20 mins drive.

Recently renovated to high luxury standard and furnished to the local Provençale taste, you will find enjoyable the comfort of this lateral house spread across 200 square meters in addition of a large garden with a swimming pool, three double bedrooms all in-suite, a large living room with 6 meters high ceiling and an all-fitted kitchen with dining table. The kids will always be busy - the garage and studio have been turned into tennis/ football play on artificial grass – table tennis/ hockey and the garden is never too small for those who like to explore.

Two southwest facing balconies will make your dinners and family gatherings quite pleasant: from the main terrace, guests can relax in front of an inspiring panorama of extensive pine forest and the second terrace on the second floor is excellent for secluded time away from the family.

The villa is located about 15 mins walking distance to the town center Roquefort Les Pins in an area with big family houses. In Roquefort Les Pins, you can find all the amenities of the town center including pharmacy, Intermarche (local supermarket), local upscale Fruits and vegetable shop and of course the local boulangerie (bread shop). Chemin du Camouyer is a long street parallel to the Route Nationale. The neighborhood is quiet lined up with family houses, yet you will never feel alone when you see many people running on the street. During the summer months, the town center square has musicians very Tuesday and you can hear the gentle music from the main terrace of the house.

We would often walk to the square for sushi or pizza. The Intermarche is key benefit really - at easy reach you can buy anything you like. But of course nothing measures up with the upscale Fruits and Vegs shop and the boulangerie (local bread shop). We would often take the bike and go for croissants to the boulangerie (the villa has one adult bike and one for up to 11 years.)

Easy to reach, the Villa is about 20 mins from the Nice airport and from all attractions of the Cote D’Azur (Antibes, Cannes, Nice). Its also 7 minutes away from the tennis courts, horseback ridding, golf (Golf D’Opio) and football fields, outdoor adventure park “ Bois Des Lutin”, 20 minutes away from the Aquapark in Antibes and generally the beach is a great attraction with various options from Antibes to Cannes, Juan Les Pins, Cagnes Sur Mer – you will find that your days are packed with activities and the kids never have a moment free.

The villages of St Paul de Vence, Mougins and Gourdon are 30 minutes drive away. Grasse and the perfume houses Fragonard and Molinard with their quaint museum tours are also some 20 minutes drive. The nearby town of Valbonne about 10 mins away offers a wide selection of excellent restaurants and bistros for dining out, some with live music, as well as elegant boutiques and a typical French market.

About Violetta

We are a family of four and after having done extensive "hotel" travel over the years, we decide to buy our own place and start creating memories which we will cherish for many years after the kids would have left. we furnished the villa for us with the view of us retiring there one day - so we hope that you will find it family friendly, tasteful and cosy. all the furniture is new and the house was renovated about 2 years ago - you will see the quality of the bathrooms is truly unique.

We fell in love with Roquefort les Pins mainly for its location - close to the beach but not too close (we don't like the crowd), good shopping for food (we love our barbecues), plenty of space for the kids to play and run around, with nearby activities - we especially love the tennis and horseback ridding (7 mins away by car) and the opportunity to just visit places such as Valbonne for a quick coffee and St Paul de Vence or Cannes (about 20 mins away).

We like to spend August in Roquefort and a holiday is never long enough for us to do everything we like: first we spend a few days just chilling near the pool; then we venture to the beach - our favourite place is Juan Les Pins where we make reservations for sun beds a month in advance - Les Pirates is a great place to go to with lots of water sports nearby and a fantastic restaurant. We would then venture to Antibes for the evening or just stay in Juan les Pins centre. We always try to leave a couple of days for city tourism: Biot, Monaco (by boat is great); St Tropez (by boat); St Paul de Vence and finally Cannes for shopping. The rest of the time we play tennis, bike with the kids and entertain guests at home.

Why Violetta chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

The house is very spacious and has many spots to either get together or to enjoy some time just by yourself: outside or inside dining room, kitchen or by the barbecue are the places where we gather as a family in the evenings. The pool is the usual place during the day, or alternatively on the large terrace outside the living room. For time alone, I would often go on the second floor terrace. The best is the converted garage for the kids - they stay there for hours playing tennis and football.

We had a great week in this fantastic house perfectly suitede for luxury family holidays. The house is very well maintained and has extraordinary decor. We had an excellent service and response from the owner befor, during and after the stay, very helpful. There is also a very good "on location service" by the gardener (took care of all praciticalities) and cleaning staff. There was furthermore several extraordinary facilities as welcome package (rosé, bread, fruit etc.), lots of space indoor and outdoor, high quality furnitures, very private and beautiful garden, roof top terrace etc. We can fully reccomend this place and hope to return soon;-)

Fantastic house

We spend a week in this fantastic house perfectly suited for luxury family holiday. The house is very well maintained and the decor is sublime. We had an excellent service and response from the owner before, during and after the stay, very helpful. Also very good "on location service" from the gardner and cleaning staff. Several extraordinary facilities as welcome package (rosé, bread, fruit, etc.), high quality furniture, lot's of indoor and outdoor space, very private garden, rooftop terrace etc. We can fully recommend this place and hop to return soon...

About 7 mins drive, there is a large tennis centre that do tennis camps for kids usually during the holidays. There are courts to play as well. Opposite the tennis court, there is horseback riding and other climbing tree activities for the kids. On the way to Valbonne, about 5 mins away, there is the nearest Golf club. There are more golf clubs in Opio which is about 10 mins away. The ski slopes are about 1 hours away.

In the town centre of Roquefort les Pins about 15 mins walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants (sushi, pizza, Italian, Tapas, French, sea food etc..), bread shop, butcher, fruits+veg shop and the local intermarche.
