This top location apartment belonged to the great renovator of Paris, Baron Haussman. Separated from the street, the apartment faces a combination of three courtyards.
It is a quiet and typical accommodation if you think that also belonged to a “chanson française” composer an author.
The loft is spread over two levels.
The first level is quiet and bright thanks to the big windows restored using traditional techniques. It is a really typical parisian flat, where the wood, stone and steel used throughout the apartment, coexist in a perfect balance.
It has an open space loft with a livingroom, a kitchenette and a sofa bed (200x140). You can reach the second floor with the steel spiral staircase to find a space used as office or library.
In the first level you will also find the bedroom, separate from a glass and stone wall. The livingroom is equipped with LCD TV, a HiFI and a vinyl player with many vintage vinyls. This apartment is furnished with wooden floor, stone walls and high ceilings.
The owner is a singer, Gainsbourg style, and he will be pleased to give you access to his CD´s and musical instruments
For check-in after 22h extra cost of 30€
Great apartment, very helpful owners, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for everything!
We had a very lovely stay, and really enjoyed our time in this apartment, and of course in Paris.
Very nice apartment in an interesting and lively area with easy access to everywhere in Paris.
The apartment was really welcoming and homely, with everything you need for living there over a week (e.g cooking supplies). The owner was very friendly and quickly responded to any issues we had. He also allowed us to send the money via bank transfer and did not request the deposit, which was very convenient as it meant we didn't have to bring so much cash. The location had everything you needed in short range, (e.g food shops, clothes shops, two train stations making travelling to central Paris very easy). There's a bakery around every corner, and everyone says Bonjour when passing.
It was a home away from home, I felt very welcome from day one. Highly recommended
