This comfortable apartment in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, is an ideal location to really make the most of an authentic Parisian experience. Located in the buzzing district of Ménilmontant, a popular village for Parisians in the XVIII century, who would come to walk and taste the local wines, and was also a district that established the emblematic “Paris Commune” in 1871. Today it is an ambivalent area that offers numerous bars and concert venues in the street Oberkampf as well as the beautiful Belleville park just 500 metres away where visitors can take a break and have a picnic.
The accommodation has a wonderful terrace offering a splendid panoramic view over Paris particularly the 20th arrondissement. Just a ten-minute walk from one of the most famous cemeteries in the world, the Père Lachaise, where numerous writers, famous politicians and musicians who have marked history are buried including Oscar Wilde, Frédérick Chopin, Edith Piaf, Honoré de Balzac, and Jim Morrison.
The metro stations Ménilmontant on line 2 and Rue Saint Maur on line 3 are two and nine minutes’ walk away respectively and lead directly to the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur, the Grands Magasins, the Opéra Garnier and the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Champs Elysées.

We (a young English couple) spent four days there, and it was very cosy but still spacious, fitting in our hefty suitcases without a problem. Lovely interior design, a comfy bed and sofa, and a cute little kitchen. The bath and the lift were tiny, but it was no major inconvenience, just a little amusing. Very close to Metro. The surrounding area had lots of cafes and a couple of supermarkets nearby, so you could get everything you needed. It could get a little noisy from the evening 'til the early morning, but the windows were thick, so unless you need absolute silence to sleep, there should be no problem. Owner was very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English as well.
Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially couples, and will hopefully come again! Merci pour un bon sejour!
the stay in the apartment was execellent .I Grant ten out of ten to this

The apartment was very nice, and the neighbourhood also, nicely decorated apartment with an owner who was was very welcoming and helpful, if you are a couple this would be perfect for you. The agency were perfect, everything went smoothly and they offered great service. There were just 2 points I was not happy with:
1) bed in living room is suitable for children but not for 2 adults, the sheets on the sofa-bed were not refreshed, however I found spare sheets and changed them myself
2) there were lots of pubs downstairs, and lots of noise, although I know the owner cannot control this it would be better suited to a young couple than a family.
Apartment was beautiful and the area was really interesting; close enough to walk to central Paris but not overly " touristy." Staying in there defintely felt a bit like playing a Parisian for the break - elegant, simple decor inside and good boulangaries and cafes close by . The lift has to be amongst the world's smallest, but fine if you can see the comic value and not the inconvinence. Communication with the owner was good and straightforward and I would definitely stay there again. Would not hesitate to highly recommend it. Would prefer to have paid online as opposed to talkign cash over, but appreciate this is a logistical thing.
Very French-like, very nice furniture and decorations. Just two problems: the bedroom had no heater, so it was a bit cold at night, and the bathroom had an accordion door which was pretty thin. Other than that, we had a great time and we would totally go back there if ever given the chance.
Decoration, furniture, facility are excellent in this apartment.
Just a point would like to mention. The lift in this building is so tiny. That is the smallest lift I have ever used.
