This gorgeous Parisian apartment, ideally located in Paris’ fifth arrondissement, will let you appreciate all the charm of the French capital. The apartment is situated on the third floor of a 15th century building (without a lift) and features a traditional, narrow wooden stairway which may make it difficult to take large suitcases up or down.
This spacious 65m2 apartment is very peaceful and possesses views of the apse of the Notre Dame Cathedral. The living room is spacious and very charming thanks to the exposed wooden beams and fantastic walls. Here you will find a double sofa-bed (futon style, 140x190cm). In the same room, though slightly separated, you will find the fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker and a fridge. There are two bedrooms. The first features a double bed, whilst the other features a single bed (80x190cm). Lastly, the bathroom features a bath, a washbasin and a WC. The apartment is now equipped with a private Wifi connection available to all clients.
With a short stroll you will be able visit some of Paris’ most beautiful monuments and immerse yourself in history and culture. The Notre Dame Cathedral is located just 250m away, and the apartment is also ideally located for vising l’Île de la Cité and l’île Saint Louis. Likewise, the renowned Louvre Museum, the Palais Royal, the Place Vendrôme, the Place de la Concorde, the Luxembourg Gardens, the well-known Sorbonne University, the Pantheon and many other sites will all be easy for you to visit.
Please bear in mind that the apartment is located on the third floor of a building without a lift. The stairway, although beautiful, is rather narrow, and as such it may be difficult to carry large suitcases up and down (a rucksack is advisable).

The location of the apartment is *perfect* for sightseeing. There are two grocery stores within 100 yards of the door and multiple metro stations on different lines less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. The street got a little noisy around dinner time but quieted down around 10:30. You do have to walk up a few flights of steps to get to the unit but if you plan on walking around Paris all day, this is trivial.
The unit could have been cleaner but it was acceptable. Clearly, this apartment gets a lot of use. For the money, however, this place would be hard if not impossible to beat in terms of value.
I stayed with my wife and two children ages 5 and 6.
My family of four (two adults, two preteens) stayed in Frederic's apartment on the Left Bank while on holiday in Paris for four days. The apartment worked well for us - convenient to Metro, groceries, restaurants, etc. and a five minute walk to Notre Dame. Everything was as expected and Frederic provided a written list of local vendors - very helpful.
We had a super time, it was an excellent apartment and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
Loved this apartment, beautiful and spacious with a nice street view, close to St Michel Metro, restaurants, shops, Notre Dame - great location! E. who showed us in the apartment was absolutely lovely - warm and welcoming, and she left us her number in case we needed any help/information. They also provided toys knowing we had children with us, a bowl of welcome biscuits and tea, coffee, etc. - even a tub of ice cream! Really well equipped apartment, would highly recommend. The only thing to be aware of is it's about 4 floors up with no lift, if this would be a problem to you... I would still definitely stay there though, even with small children.
Great apartment in a great spot!
The Paris apartment was perfect for us. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was great and the beds comfy (the fifth bed is really only suited to a child and we had an adult sleeping on it but we were aware of this when we booked). It would have been nice to have a couple of lounge chairs or a sofa but the chairs supplied were fine for the few days we were there. We made use of the washing machine and the kitchen and were really happy with the size of the apartment. The owner met us there to hand over keys and she was lovely and very approachable. We would certainly recommend the apartment to others (even after climbing the steep stairs a couple of times a day).
Thanks very much
