The location of this flat is ideal, as it is located in the heart of Paris beside Les Halles (10 min. by metro, 20 min. on foot), the
Gare de l’Est and la Gare du Nord, Canal Saint Martin, la Place de la République, and about 200 meters from Strasbourg-Saint Denis station, with
connections to three metro lines (4, 8 and 9) and various bus routes. Paid parking is available 500 meters away. Numerous shops and other entertainment venues are located nearby: bakeries, covered markets, butchers, supermarkets,. cafes, international restaurants, 5 theatres, medical centres, chemists etc.

The location was very close to a good metro station, so it was easy to go to Disneyland and Versailles. Whilst I didn't think much of the street at first, it was very convenient to a small supermarket and sandwich/patisserie(great banguettes), nice restaurant up the road, and at the end of the street near shops and restaurants. The apartment was very quiet, as it was back from the road and very comfortable and also a bit different and quirky. Free Wifi a bonus as well.

Quiet and spacious, close to the metro, but we easily walked to everything of interest. We spent a little more than we originally budgeted for because we wanted to be comfortable after a long flight from Australia, and to start the holiday off on a good note. The apartment was exactly as depicted on the web site. Good wireless internet free. We cooked many wonderful meals in the well equipped kitchen (would gladly swap the small dishwasher for a microwave oven though). We ate wonderful cheap 3 course lunches in the Latin quarter. The apartment owner and neighbours were very helpful when upstairs had a minor water leak in to apartment. Parisians are much friendlier and more helpful than others would have you believe. The apartment is simply gorgeous,spacious and has that something that will make your staying in Paris special.Lots of details and the quietness helps to enjoy the time spent in it.T. from the agency was very nice guy and gave as some suggestions about renting the bikes and some info about the Asterix park that we planed to visit.The neighbourhood is ok and it takes 10 minutes of walk to the Gare de East or the Pompidue centre.Anyway,my wife,my 11 years old son and I felt really great in it and the option of cooking was something that we liked.There are 2 markets just before and behind the corner and the metro station Strasbourg St Denis is there too so we didnt have to walk a long way home tired after roaming across Paris.We got 30% discount because it was august when we came.
There were just no problems popping out and T. from the agency was a great guy.
