The neighbourhood of Berlin-Neukölln is located south of Berlin-Kreuzberg. Hermanplatz is one of the liveliest and most entertaining squares in Berlin, and is just next to Karl-Marx Street, well-known for its numerous shops. In addition, the most unusual Opera house in Germany, the Neukölln Opera, is also located within the area. The southern part of Neukölln is emblematic for its various open, green spaces and canals. Although it is primarily a residential area, there is also a park which belongs to the ancient Britz mansion.
This beautiful apartment is ideal for couples looking to enjoy the wonderful German capital.

The apartment is as pictured and was a perfect size for our needs for 5 nights. The location is great. Alexanderplatz with it's train station is a block and a half away so it's easy to see the rest of the city and there are markets, bakeries, cafes and restaurants nearby.
My two complaints would be, first, the street noise. Our unit faced Alexanderstrasse which is a busy noisy street 24/7. The first nights we were there were unseasonably warm and we wanted the window open for ventilation but that was nearly impossible due to noise. Having said that, with the windows closed, the apartment was quiet. My second issue was with one of the on-site managers who was quite aggressive with one of our guests who brought over her dog. She lives near the apartment, and stopped by one evening while she was walking her dog for a glass of wine. Shortly after her arrival, he came in to the courtyard and began quite angrily and aggressively telling her she had to leave immediately. It was embarrassing to us and could have been handled differently.
Other than those two issues, we'd recommend the apartment and will happily stay there again. Just avoid the warm weather and, "No Dogs!".
We where really impressed with the apartment and the service! Excellent! Really stylish!
Overall it was a great place to stay. The apartment was extremely clean, nicely decorated and just a few meters from the U-Bahn. The owner and contact person were very nice, helpful and warm. The only minor things that I found somehow discomforting was the vintage sofa (its leather could have been changed without altering the original pattern) and the fact that we did not have a spair pair of linen (though plenty of towels were available). They should also check a small problem with hot water in the shower as it was not consistent.
great place with a great vibe, cool area, close to transport, and very very nice people running it. we liked it so much it was hard to leave :)
