Just as one would imaging a Mykonian villa to be!
Staying at this perfect villa atop Elia beach was the ideal vacation. All four bedrooms were beautifully appointed. The open kitchen, outdoor lounging and entertaining spaces were ideal. And the pool was wonderful. The housekeeper, Gloria, and concierge, Esmeralda, were incredibly professional and accommodating. I really was the perfect Mykonian villa and vacation. We will definitely be back!
Hi Jamie ,
Many thanks for your kind words , we are so pleased you had a great time and look forward to welcoming you back

Luxury villa, well serviced on an expensive island
This is an immaculately kept villa with stunning views over Elia and the sea. The furnishings are all a very high standard, and the layout of the property gives several different spaces for groups to be together or dispersed. The pool is a good size and the jacuzzi too. There is also a BBQ and exercise equipment including treadmill.
A housekeeper Gloria is on site 6 days from 08.00 or earlier and stays to lunchtime.
Our stay was enhanced by Esmeralda who crucially met us at the airport and guided us to the villa and gave all sorts of recommendations. The nearest shops in Ano Mera were excellent with good quality bakery, butcher and supermarket. Butcher has great huge burgers, lamb kebabs and more for the BBQ.
You have to have a car and be ready for narrow fast roads. Small cars much better than wide ones. Even walking to the beach would be too much in the heat of the summer. It’s a steep hill, not close and we wouldn’t have contemplated walking there.
We were not expecting the cost of living to be so high in general on Mykonos nor the island to be so crowded. The quaint ‘Mamma Mia’ style restaurant Kikki with no reservations had a queue for lunch by 10.00 and was overcrowded an hour before opening. Parking in the village and main town also very busy. Esmeralda provides tour options, makes taxi and excursion bookings (eg Delos) and is generally very helpful. Her quotes for a private boat trip for a day were in excess of €1000 and catering in the villa by a chef €100 per person once taxes added.
This is a luxury well maintained villa very well supported by Esmeralda and Gloria on an expensive island.
Such a beautiful home in a remarkable location, quiet enough area to feel like a getaway, but with many activities a short drive away. And wonderful people to deal with- owners Carl and Debby, along with Housekeeper Gloria and concierge Esmeralda all made us feel at home and cared for.
We are glad you had a good time many thanks

Wonderful, exactly as shown. Beautiful villa with amazing views
Fantastic week. While we did make several excursions you did not need to leave the villa (other than to shop for food) .
Paradise in Mykonos!
The owners of Villa Elia have outdone themselves with designing a truly amazing home, tastefully decorated, with incredible views. This house exceeded our expectations. The owners are extremely attentive and gracious hosts. They also have a wonderful housekeeper, Gloria, who works for them and comes to clean daily. They employ a house concierge, Esmerelda, who could not have been better. She helped us navigate a new place, make reservations, book tours, etc. She was very responsive and made sure she checked on us every day. Both Gloria and Esmerelda are really outstanding.
The house has 4 bedrooms, all with bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the linens are high quality. One of may favorite things about the house is all of the great outdoor seating areas - the dining area, the pool seating, the seating next to the pool and the hot tub. The owners have made this house so fantastic and comfortable we did not want to leave it!
You definitely should rent a car if staying at this villa. It is perched on top of a very steep hill (hence the gorgeous views), and you will need it. I must say that we visited many different beaches but Elia Beach that the villa overlooks was my favorite. It’s relatively quiet and has a very good restaurant (Elia) that is open air with a great view of the water. You can rent towels and sun beds at the beach.
Esmerelda arranged private chefs to come cook for us one night and that was a real highlight of our culinary journey while at Mykonos (this says a lot as we live in New Orleans and love to eat!). The chefs are wonderful people and their food is excellent.
We will miss this wonderful place!! It really is paradise. Thanks Carl & Debby!!
We are so pleased you guys enjoyed Mykonos and the villa you were great guests thank you for looking after the house for us .

My friends and I just spent a week at the villa. After we left, Carl sent a message asking if we had any suggestions for improvement. We could think of nothing. That's because this house is perfect and Carl and Debby have thought of everything. First of all, the villa is EXACTLY as advertised. In fact, the pictures don't do it justice. The house is set up for relaxation. The pool is pristine and overlooks the sea. Comfy chaise lounges and outdoor furniture provide places to sit and read in both sun and shade. The dining table on the patio is the perfect place to enjoy a meal. The entire house is modern with a beautiful kitchen (with an amazing view, of course) and modern appliances. The bedrooms are gorgeous, with breathtaking views, outdoor spaces and lovely updated bathrooms in each bedroom. The beds with their soft linens are so comfortable! Fluffy towels are everywhere. Some other things we loved about this house:
Carl and Debby use a concierge service in Mykonos called House Solutions that will make arrangements for guests. Use them!! Esmeralda is FANTASTIC. She met us at the airport with a big smile and took us to the villa. The rental car she had arranged was already parked in the driveway. She had stocked the house with our requested groceries. Amazing service!
Gloria, the wonderful housekeeper, is so kind and thoughtful. She is careful not to disturb but keeps everything spotless. Breakfast dishes disappear and fresh pool towels magically appear. She is sweet and lovely.
Location: The villa sits on a hill overlooking Elia Beach, one of the most popular beaches. You can walk if you don't mind an uphill walk coming home, or drive (there's plenty of parking). We'd have lunch at the Elia Beach Restaurant (great food, friendly people, locally owned) and then saunter down to the beach and grab a chaise lounge (at 15 euro for the day, it's money well-spent). For dinner, we'd drive to the small town of Ano Mera abut 2 miles away and eat at one of the famiy-owned tavernas, or head into Mykonos Town if we wanted more choices. Good food and friendly people are everywhere on Mykonos.
Thanks Monica we are so pleased you enjoyed Mykonos look forward to herring from you in the future .

Elia beach is a great sandy beach with a excellent restaurant and water sports centre , with waiter service available bringing food and drinks it is a great way to relax it is a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach .
