Wonderful apartment in stunning location

We had a fantastic week staying at Casa Violeta as our base to explore the beautiful island of Lanzarote. The apartment is secluded and very spacious, equipped with everything we needed for self catering. The terrace offers stunning panoramic views of the island, looking out over Maria's amazing cactus garden. It is located well just outside of Arrecife making it very easy to travel from there to explore the island. We had a hire car which made everything accessible to us. The Cesar Manrique Foundation is very close which was the first place we visited on our first day on the island. We highly recommend it as it gives context to Lanzarote and the vision that Manrique had for it and his ideas of 'soft tourism'. The pretty town and former capital Teguise is not far away, Arrecife itself has some great places to visit and eat (and a lovely beach at El Reducto). Do go to all the Manrique created places - The Jardin de Cactus, Jameos del Agua, Cuerva de los Verde, Mirador del Rio etc. The landscape is wonderful and we found a great short walk to visit a volcano crater at Caldera del Cuervo which was good to do especially if you've never been to a volcanic place before. The trip round Timanfaya is also worth it for a glimpse into how the earth once looked! We also found some lovely beaches up near Orzola. Do stay away from the resorts - Lanzarote is so much more than that. Our host Maria was very hospitable and welcoming. She was discrete but made it clear that she could easily be contacted by phone or email should we need to. There is nothing I would change about our visit as it was perfect and we would strongly recommend staying here any day over one of the holiday complexes.

Inspirierendes Garten-Apartment

Gemütliche Einliegerwohnung in Architektenhaus mit traumhaftem, Manrique-inspiriertem Garten und sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Vermieterin. Die Wohnung ist geeignet für Paare, die einen Urlaub abseits der Touristenstrände in einer ruhigen, inspirierenden Umgebung (in der Vulkanlandschaft um die Fundacion César Manrique) verbringen möchten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Vermieterin empfangen, fanden eine liebevoll, modern eingerichtete und saubere Wohnung und einen mit Kleinigkeiten gefüllten Kühlschrank vor, sowie eine kleine Bibliothek von Kunstbildbänden und Büchern, die die Inspiration der Vermieterin für den Bau des Hauses erahnen lassen. Der Garten und die Terrasse, wie auch das Sofa vor der Fensterfront gen Süden und Westen laden zur Entspannung bei jedem Wetter ein, mit einer Kochplatte, kleinem Ofen und Elektrogrill, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher waren wir rundum versorgt. Definitiv wird dieser erste Aufenthalt in der Lila Wohnung in Tahiche nicht unser letzter gewesen sein. Muchas Gracias!

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und ruhig in Tahiche gelegen. Der Garten und die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt. Die Wohnung ist bestens eingerichtet es fehlt an nichts. Maria ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Grosszügiges Loft mit Vulkan- und Meerblick

Marias Haus liegt eingebettet in die bizarre Lava-Landschaft. Das loftähnliche, künstlerisch ausgestattete Apartement ist von einem wunderschön gestaltetem Garten umgeben. Es ist alles da, um richtig entspannen zu können. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, grosse Terrasse mit Sonnenliegen, Tisch, Stühlen und Solarlampen. Kataloge über Kunst und Architektur, Literatur über Lanzarote. Maria ist eine sehr herzliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Ich bin begeistert und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Une bonne adresse et un cadre unique

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour du 20 janvier au3février 2018 et cela grâce à notre hôtesse Maria toujours disponible et prête à rendre service. L'appartement est situé dans un jardin caractéristique de cette île volcanique. L'appartement est parfaitement équipé et très lumineux. Une belle terrasse extérieure permet de profiter de la nature, à l'abri des vents d'ouest. Si la 1ere semaine fut agréable,la seconde fut malheureusement exceptionnellement pluvieuse mais nous a permis néanmoins de profiter du soleil les après-midi.

Desolée parce que les jours peu abondants qu'il a plu dans notre île, ils ont coïncidé avec votre séjour. Mais je crois qu'il serait pire dans ce cas si la maison ne disposait pas d'un chauffage ni de bonne vue au paysage. Dans n'importe quel cas, voir pleuvoir à Lanzarote est exceptionnel et notre paysage et tranquillité sont un luxe avec le soleil ou sans soleil. La proche fois très probablement vous pourrez jouir du soleil! Et toujours ce sera un plaisir vous recevoir! Salutations et merci aussi pour sa patience avec mon Français!

"LAGOMAR" in Nazareth (3 kilometers) is an interesting construction, restaurant and bar.

"THE COMPANY" which stands ALSO IN THIS PEOPLE, IS AN IDEAL PLACE TO EAT at popular prices.

"Costa Teguise" (4 kilometers) has many different beaches, and many different bars and restaurants MARKET AND SUPERMARKETS.

It is a good place for shopping and strolling.

The nearest restaurant is "The cisterns" very successful and very attractive and large outdoor.

THE HOUSE IS SITUATED IN A VERY LARGE AND CLOSED PROPERTY, AND THIS GUARANTEES PRIVACY AND SECURITY.

THE ENVIRONMENT IS RURAL AND RESIDENTIAL, NON-TOURIST, AND THE VOLCANIC NATURE IS VERY PRESENT.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME, EVERYTHING IS NEAR, THE BEACHES, THE TOURIST AND COMMERCIAL CENTERS ... DUE TO THE LOCATION IN THE CENTER OF THE ISLAND.
