Refurbishment needed

Sara’s apartment is well located on the ground floor of the block on the paseo marítimo,so virtually on the beach. The apartment itself is badly in need of refurbishment. The floor tiles,in particular,are old and never look clean. My biggest complaint,however,is the noise from the bedroom window (the outer grill housing) when the wind blows,which is often. This was called the windy coast at one time. The noise is like a chainsaw and makes it impossible to sleep. Out of 12 weeks I stayed there I probably spent 5 weeks sleeping in the living room. Sara did ask maintenance to look at it but they couldn’t do anything to help.

Great location!

Loved the location. Missed having air conditioning. Lovely apartment but no sun on balcony. Would definitely stay there again and fully enjoyed it. Sara was very approachable and helpful.

nearly but not quite!

The apartment is situated in a good position close to all the parts of Benalmadena that are good with restaurants and bars a plenty and many of good standard.

The apartment was small but ok for size but little things like a shortage of mixing bowls for use with microwave oven and no instuctions on how to use the very modern cooker or find english programs on the tv.

The bathroom was reasonable with a new sink and cupboards being very useful but the shower was a joke with nowhere to put the shower head when not in use but hot water was plentyful .

Good service from the staff at reception helped to make the stay enjoyable and clean towels and bed sheets every 4days was a bonus.

We knew that there would be no air conditioning but it was needed more than we expected.

A lot of good things about the apartment but as my title says not quite enough to make us want to return

People with walking difficulties would struggle because it is in the centre of steep hill and cannot be avoided either leaving or returning to the apartment.

If a clock is put on the wall it should be working!

The property is fine but!!

The apartment is good with everything as described The photographs are accurate and I was particularly impressed as when we arrived the toaster was not working, we reported this to reception and a brand new toaster in its box was delivered the following morning. The problem was the terrain Calle Tamarind is a steep hill and many people especially the elderly or the infirm including myself and my wife had to stop several times during its accent. So unfortunately we will not be rebooking

Lovely apartment in a good position for shops, buses and the sea front

We spent four weeks in this very comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment, and for just the two of us it seemed very spacious. In the lounge there is a big comfortable sofa bed and a single sofa bed, and a large glass topped table with chairs. The bedroom has a lovely king sized bed and another single sofa bed. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom is a good size and there is lots of hot water. Also a washing machine in the bathroom. The balcony looks over towards the marina. Just up the hill to the SuperSol supermarket (or a ten minute walk to Lidl), and to the buses. Down the slope to the sea front for cafes / restaurants, and lovely long walks.
