We had a super week
Llwyngwril is a fab place to stay and this cottage is in a great location.
I loved the layout, the cottage feel, it was well equipped and for the kids the broadband worked well!
So much to do, it was a great holiday.
We had a lovely time, the cottage is adorable.
The cottage is warm, comfortable and very beautiful, it’s in a lovely position and we can’t wait to visit again.
Many thanks for your lovely review. I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay in Hewell Cottage, there is certainly a lot to do in the area. We would welcome your return in the future.
Thank you so much Jane for having your gorgeous cottage available to us.
We (3 adults and 2 x 17 year olds) stayed for 4 nights over the New Year period.
Our days were pretty full, including: Blue Lake, Dolgoch Falls, Pony Trekking, Harlech Castle, Castell Y Bere, Barmouth, a walk over the Barmouth Bridge and Dolgellau.
With the days being short at this time of year - the cottage played quite a big part of making our trip great.
We had absolutely no problem with that. The kitchen was fantastic and very well equipped (I love the crockery Jane). The cosy lounge with fireplace provided a super spot for relaxation.
For anyone wanting a superb self catering cottage - this is brilliant.
It is really like home away from home.
Thank you again Jane. xxx
Gorgeous cottage. Loads of character.
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely part of the world. Thank you.
Happy to hear you had a lovely time in the cottage and area. Would welcome you back anytime.
Lovely cottage in a lovely village
The cottage was excellent and very enjoyable to stay in. Great location with a nice walk to the beach. Easy access to Fairbourne, Barmouth, Tywyn and Aberdovey all worth a visit
Great to hear you had an enjoyable stay. As you say, many lovely places to visit, using the coastal train if you want to leave the car at home.
Would love to welcome you back any time.
Pleasant cottage in lovely village
We were very happy with our stay in Hewell Cottage. There is a strong sense of history in the Cottage and it is very unlike anywhere I have stayed previously, but that is what I particularly liked about it. It is situated very close to the sea and the train station was handy too. Llyngwril is a charming village and the locals I met were very friendly. The dog loved it too!
So happy to hear you loved the cottage, it is a special place for all our family too. Would love to welcome you back another time when you're planning to visit the area again.
Coed Y Brenin forest (just north of Dolgellau) was the first to be developed for mountain biking and to this day retains its reputation as the sports premier location.
Steam trains at Fairbourne and Tywyn.
Many beautiful coastal (new coastal path runs through the village) and mountain walks from the door.
