A great place for a familly holiday
The location is pretty close to the city centre and all the main sightseeings: 5-10 minutes by bus or 20-30 minutes by foot. Supermarket Lidl, Tesco express and Sainsburry's local are within 10 minute walk. The flat itself is cosy, comfy and well equipped with all the necessary things (see description). Noël is a very helpful and responsive person. Highly recommend!
Excellent location, helpful owner
We enjoyed our stay but felt that the apartment should only cater for two as it’s very small. Catering for four (five even) meant that the sitting area had a double bed settee to sit on which wasn’t comfortable and the corner was cluttered with a z bed and lots of bedding and pillows. (not shown in the photo!) . The kitchen was well equipped . The bedroom has no mirror which would have been useful. Having said this, it is very convenient, just off Leith Walk, with very regular buses to the Centre. We walked back on a couple of occasions as it’s all downhill!
Very good value for money basic flat
This is a great bargain option - good price and central location. Flat is basic but usable. My only niggle is lack of sheets for the sofabed and camp bed. Other than that, good for the money.
Extra bed linen for the sofa bed are always provided on request. Please make sure you inform us you are planning to use the sofa bed and we will give extra bedsheet duvet cover and towels.
Our Fringe visit
We stayed one night during The Fringe Festival, the bed was really comfy and so was the sofa bed. Everything we needed was here with shops a couple of minutes walk away. The owner was really kind and so very helpful.
The apartment is clean, cosy and is not far from the city centre. I missed a TV set though.
We stayed in Edinburgh for only three days but enough to see the city. Unfortunately at night, after going to the cinema we had to stay at home since my daughter was not old enough to go to the pubs. That is why we missed a tv set.
We had a good time.
The flat has a TV now.
Nice, clean, convenient
The flat is exactly as advertised: updated, clean and spacious. Noel was vey prompt and friendly. Groceries nearby, and main attractions are walkable or a short bus ride away. We were very happy with this accommodation.
