One of the best locations and villas in Moraira. Designed by an architect (winner Le Corbusier Prize 1966 athens) for his use. The location, orientation (south) and topography are no coincidence.The villa was built On a natural strategic enclave and overlooks the whole Bay and Cap Dor. The south view means that there is sunshine all day on the pool but not in the house or rooms. However due to the space all the house is well lit and bright and airy. The coastal pathway is just below the house (10 metres)to the beach 200 metres and village is just 600 metres away. you can easily walk to the beach in the morning (kayaks, paddle surf for rent ) spend the afternoon at the pool and in the evening casually walk to the village for dinner and entretainment. Get your sandals on and Leave the car in the garage, you wont need it here! Contrary to most seafront on the cliffs and cape and which offer the most majestic views Most of the spacious house was conceived and designed on one level: the pool, shower, bbq and outside dining table, living room kitchen, inside dining table, terraces, wc. From any angle you have a constant panoramic view. This affords nice individual space for each member but we can all be together. So whether you are sitting at the table in the pool, (yes in the pool) preparing the barbecue, swinging in the breeze of the outside hammock, reading one of the books in the massive inside hammock, watching tv or playing backgammon in the large lounge or mixing up smoothies in the kitchen we can all see and communicate with each other. Leading directly on the pool There are 2 separate bedrooms with a double and 2 fixed single beds, they share, each with independent door, a shower and wc. The third bedroom (blue) room is on another level with a double bed (all matresses bed linens pillows towels brand new) ensuite shower etc and a large private terrace with table chairs and hammock and with awesome 180 degree views over the pool and the cape dor and the sea. The fourth largest bedroom has a large double bed (180x180) an ensuite bathroom and bidet, and a large private terrace with a working (hot water) antique handmade marble bathtub. This terrace overlooks the east and the cap dor, sunshine comes momentarily in the early morning (good thick curtains) but the ancient pine tree (at construction the terrace was redrawn a fewtimes in order to preserve this original tree) does very well in affording a cool shade and keeps your privacy and intimacy from the cape dor and road while letting you contemplate unabashedly the bay and cape. This terrace also a has a direct stairwell to the pool and bbq area. A hammock can be provided for this area...

The house and equipment has been refurbished to new, all is freshly painted and varnished, and clean. The kitchen equipment, cutlery and kitchenware, linens, towels, sofas, hammocks and much more is brand new. Please forward arrival details and number we will meet you at the house and orient you at whatever time that you eventually arrive. You will be provided with fresh linens and the beds will be made on the day of arrival. You will be provided not only with Bath towels but also with beach or pool towels. My aim is to make you comfortable, independent, and well informed. I can be reached 24 hours a day.The property area is private safe, and tranquil, although access is very easy. Although the sun heats the pool all day, please take into acoount that the average pool temperature in Moraira is not really warm until May. A new pool heater provides a comfortable bathing temperature early and late in the season. There is no extra charge!

Why The Owner/Property Manager chose El Portet

This property was chosen for comparative natural advantages on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. Its a natural promontory between the two valleys of El Portet and Moraira and totally overlooking the bay and sea from south to south west- from the Cape DÓR of el Portet (no doubt due t its golden hue especally from October ((spectacular light contrasts and clear visibility at this time of year )) strategic importance was in mind when the Enginners of the Spanish Corps decided to build the Guardia Civil Outpost behind the property.

The house has easy access by car and foot, the coastal path is 10 metres away . To be able to walk either to town or the beach comfortably, affording independence for all guests.. The evening walk back from the village with the moon coming up over the tower and the cape while the bay and sea are absolutelly tranquil is unforgettable.

An incredible property in a wonderful location filled with amazing things.

After receiving an incredibly warm welcome by the owner we entered the house through a very attractive entrance and felt an immediate affinity with the place.

The property was designed, built and lived in by the current owner's father, an award winning architect, who has created a masterpiece in this construction.

From the first feeling of light and space to soon realising that behind every corner lies a hidden gem waiting to be discovered and every nook and cranny contains a surprise.

There are far too many wonderful things to say but I must mention a few.

The sea views to Moraira and El Portet are unbeatable, the way the house has been comfortably furnished with a gorgeous mix of unusual and interesting antique pieces and newer stylish items including some very comfortable hammocks which all compliment each other perfectly and the variety of interesting artefacts, ornaments & objet d'art are an absolute feast for the eyes!

The outside marble bath on a small secluded terrace found just off the master bedroom suite, with beautiful views to El Portet bay, is truly magnificent and complete opulence.

After our stay the feeling that I left with more than anything is that I totally 'get' what the owner's father set out to and succeeded in achieving.

I really do feel a true affinity with the whole place, the same feeling that I got the first time I walked through the front door and I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to stay here.

Beautiful villa, location and area!

What a wonderful week we've just spent at this incredible villa! We were met by the lovely Tristan on arrival and then left to our own devices, yet it was great to know he was close at hand if we needed him. It is such an unusual place, designed by Tristan's father, and full of interesting books and art work. The pool area, the open plan kitchen/living area, outdoor kitchen and the hammocks are perfect for lazy days in the sunshine and finding shade when you need it.

Two double bedrooms are in the main house and then two (a double and a twin) are in a section that comes off the side of the house, these have doors which open out just above the pool area. We were in the yellow room, the master, which has a terrace with THE most amazing outdoor bathtub and views of the turquoise sea. The blue room upstairs has a fab terrace with a table and chairs and a hammock.

Before we arrived I couldn't imagine the lay out, as it's so unusual in its design, but you just have to trust how wonderful this place is; I would recommend it to anyone and I would love to go back. The little beach is stunning and only 2 minutes walk away and then Moraira and the bigger beach are about 10/15 minutes walk in the other direction. There are plenty of supermarkets and petrol stations nearby to gather supplies, and fantastic restaurants in town.

All in all a lovely, relaxing break and in the most stunning location. I miss that view so very much! Thank you, Tristan, Paloma & family, for a perfect stay.

Amazing villa, stunning location.

We had a great time here. The house is lovely, lots of character and space with stunning views. I never tired of watching the sea, whilst sitting by the pool. It's a short walk down to El Portet Beach and not far to Moraira.

For reservation we requiere 50% of the total rent agreed to to be paid via bank transfer please refer to very low transfer rates and excellent exchange rate, payments arrive in my bank acocount in one day, with confirmation, or Paypal . The rest can be paid at the house on your arrival in cash please, or can be sent before via tranfer etc beforehand but with confirmation before arrival. Upon reservation please send me a copy of your identification and flight details or arrival and phone number this way we can organize your arrival and we will check for flight delays etc. We are not an agency, we will meet you at our home, at whatever time you arrive. The house is easy to arrive, but nonthless we requiere that you call us upon reaching exit of the motorway (benissa) this will give us 15 minutes in order to meet you. We will open and present the house to you. A rental coontract will be presented, and signed. We requiere a cash security deposit of 600 euros which will be returned to you upon verification and checkout. Check in is normally after 3-4pm and check out is 10am. We can arrange lunch or other activities for you while we prepare the house and you can park safely while we prepare the house for you.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
