Charming Home and a Cosy Stay

  • 5 of 5

Last week, my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Rosy's home near Mt. Etna. Just getting there was an adventure, but she personally guided us by meeting us at a place we could locate, then led us the rest of the way up and up the mountain. We were delighted by the care and comfort provided to us in this home. We loved all the decorations, thought it was very comfortable, enjoyed the peace and quiet and the splendid view and sunrise we got to experience. The location was convenient to touring the Mt. Etna area and Taormina.

I would highly recommend Rosy's place for anyone who wants to escape from it all in Sicily, have a unique experience that isn't "touristy", stay in a charming home and have a vacation not to be forgotten.

Ferienhaus mit Panoramablick

  • 5 of 5

Kein Touristentrubel.

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful home, spectacular view and lovely hostess Rosy

  • 5 of 5

We had the most wonderful stay in this old wine mill that has been so delicately renovated. It really welcomed us with its charme and cleanness. The view from the terrace - overlooking the sea and all the way to Taormina - was breathtaking. Our hostess, Rosy, also made us fell so wellcome. She fetched us in the small village Piedimonte Etneo. Would have been difficult to find our way without someone showing us. The young couple living right next to us were very helpful. Therefore we can only recommend this wonderful place - you just have to have a car!

The property's location is an excellent starting point for excursions to the largest volcano in Europe - far away 14 km -, That Has Been in 2013 included in the UNESCO World Heritage list ,. From the mountains to the sea: Giardini Naxos and Taormina are very near..These coasts are among the most beautiful of the Island, full of caves, cliffs and bays. But Taormina is anche cultures: it was a flourishing greek city, and it was enriched in the time of monuments, the most famous of Which is the Greek Roman theater, place of shows and performances During the summer. Another unique and fascinating natural scenery (20 'by car) are the Alcantara Gorges. The Gorges are up to 50 meters high, and they are in the canyon originated from ancient lava flows That crossed the icy waters of the river Alcantara. And xcursions are organized Throughout all the year. And at the end if You like food and good wine this is the right place
