Villa Kalyves - Beautiful Pool - Amazing Sea Views -Walk to Beaches

Villa Kalyves has the most beautiful views across the Aegean Sea which can be enjoyed from the sun soaked pool, and dining terrace and with access to two beaches just a 10 minute walk away it is a wonderful location for a holiday stay for up to 6 adults and 2 children.
This traditional Greek Villa and Cottage is set in a tranquil, peaceful and stunning location. There are five beaches within a 10-15 minute drive.
The separate Cottage provides self contained accommodation for a couple ( and two children on the upper floor) with views from its delightful terrace towards Armenopetra Beach and Kalives Beach.

'Elios', with its shops and fine tavernas clustered around its beautiful harbour, is a 20-minute walk away or a few minutes drive.
The Olive Grove below the house is an idyllic area in which to relax and admire the views; take a coffee and a book and absorb the tranquillity of this perfectly peaceful location. Fruit trees are scattered throughout, there for guests to enjoy whatever might be in season.

The Villa has a double and a twin bedroom with en-suite bathrooms and each has a terrace overlooking the sea. Views to the Aegean from the bedroom, delightful morning and evening!
The traditional Cottage is a favourite with guests, having a double bedroom and its own lounge area with kitchenette and additional single beds, or a large sofa bed if preferred. The Cottage has its own terrace and seating area with spectacular views.

Villa Kalyves has a spacious living area with a traditional stone floor and an amazing timber ceiling, tastefully furnished and is equipped with a large screen 4K TV and DVD player. Unlimited fast broadband means guests can access all their personal streaming needs and boosters provide wi-fi throughout the property

The kitchen area is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, fan oven and ceramic hob and we always ensure there is plenty of home produced Villa Kalyves olive oil available for guests!
The large upper terrace boasts a magnificent dining table which can seat all the guests for evening dining whilst they enjoy the most amazing sunsets.
All rooms have new air-conditioning units and our two solar powered units provide all the hot water needed.
The delightful pool which has a shallow stepped access for younger ( or older) guests, is complimented with a large south facing sunbathing area which looks across the Aegean Sea and is equipped with sun loungers and sunshades and a shower facility. A pergola provides a delightful shaded seating area for lunches or sun-downers. Quality pool/beach towels are provided for guests.

Relax in the quiet areas found throughout the gardens, enjoy the peaceful surrounds of Villa Kalyves with its amazing views.

Beautiful villa with stunning views

Lovely holiday in this absolutely stunning villa. The advantage of a separate guesthouse for two gave our daughter and her boyfriend welcome privacy. The views are amazing and everything is provided for a comfortable stay including aircon, efficient insect nets on doors and tv channels for most tastes. The only drawback is the distance to other parts of Skopelos as the driving is a bit hair raising and a good 30-40 mins to Skopelos town that has the best the island has to offer of bars, shops, restaurants. You do need a car. The villa manager is lovely and helpful and the sense of peace and tranquility is superb as there is no worry about security on this beautiful island. Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious and prices reasonable! Book your stay if you have a confident driver in your party and enjoy the views, the eagles, the sunsets and the sunshine!

Stunning views from this attractive rustic style house which is in a beautiful and very peaceful location. Multiple choices of beaches, tavernas etc within v short distances by car. Simply but very tastefully and comfortably furnished; everything we needed for a 3 generation family stay. Kids slept in the annex cottage and adults in the main house. Beautiful gardens and pool area, with lots of local fauna! Pool and outdoor spaces are very thoughtfully designed and the pool is bigger than it looks in the photos. Agree with previous reviews that the photos don't do it justice - it was even better than we had hoped! Anthoula, cleaning staff and pool staff were all delightful and very helpful. 4/5 for accuracy of listing as tv/dvd etc had been removed and sofa bed in annex could only be a single due to faulty hinge. However neither of these small points detracted from our stay - who needs a TV with a view like that?! Caution - lots of steps up & down (house/garden is on multiple levels) so might be slightly tricky for someone with mobility problems. Thanks Chris for a wonderful holiday...

Great house, lovely holiday

This is just a brilliant house for a small family. There is lots of space, lovely terraces on all levels and the pool is great. Everything is in great condition and somehow the photos don't quite do it justice! Anthoula the property manager was so helpful and went beyond the call of duty in returning a couple of forgotten things to us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house or to return, given the chance. Only thing to point out is that a small 4 x 4 is really needed given the slopes at the property and to nearby beach. 10/10

We have had a fabulous, relaxing time in this lovely villa. Views from every window, comfortable, well equipped accommodation and first class service from the property manager, cleaners, pool manager etc. There are always tiny issues in someone else’s villa and these were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the property manager. We rent out a holiday home in the UK and our only criticism is more information on recommended restaurants would be helpful . Nova and John

Why they chose this property

Villa Kalyves was built on land which has the best views on the Island, in a very peaceful and beautiful location. Two delightful beaches very close and yet 5 minutes from the traditional tavernas surrounding the harbour and beach at Elios.

What makes this property unique

Wonderful views and sunsets (people say the best on the island) and the pool overlooking the Aegean Sea. Kalyves Beach is a short walk on a bumpy track from the bottom of the garden and Armenopetra Beach is a 10 minute walk away. A beautiful villa and a delightful cottage provides unique accommodation for up to 6 adults and 2 children.
