A superb holiday location from which to explore the many delights that North Cornwall has to offer. Situated at the end of a no through-road, on a working dairy farm, it adjoins the owner’s historic home which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, and offers peace and tranquillity, whilst being just 4 miles from the breathtaking North Cornish coast. Immaculately presented and tastefully decorated and furnished, there are a wealth of character features including exposed beams, a large woodburner, a double height hall and a private bedroom suite that is separated from the rest of the bedrooms and accessed via a spiral staircase. The bathroom boasts a stunning, free-standing, claw-foot bath and a separate large shower unit. Guests are free to enjoy one of the two pretty, public footpaths across the owner’s farmland, one will take you to the Tamar Lakes where coarse and trout fishing, sailing, wind surfing and canoeing can be found, the other is a circular walk, taking you through the pretty village of Kilkhampton, with its beautiful church.The property is ideally placed close to the spectacular National Trust Coastal Path, which boasts access to superb bays, beaches and coves, the nearest of these being the lovely beach of Sandymouth, just 4 miles away. The village of Kilkhampton offers two pubs and a good range of village shops and take-away food outlets. The popular resort of Bude is 6 miles and has glorious beaches and town amenities, along with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Golf, horse riding, surfing, bowling, indoor Splash pool, fishing and mountain boarding are all on offer here, and the internationally acclaimed annual jazz festival is not to be missed. The pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac, Tintagel and Clovelly are close by, and for family fun, there are two adventure parks for children, all within 20 miles. Beach 4 miles.
