About Suzanne Lewis

Fritz and Suzanne hiking in Canyonlands. We love the Moab area and try to hike as often as possible. We have lots of favorite places to share with our guests. We also love to discover rock art and many of our excursions are centered around the search for the ever elusive petroglyph panel.

Why Suzanne Lewis chose Moab

We live and work in Moab and when we built our home we chose this area of Moab because it is very rural, quiet and has beautiful views.

What makes this studio unique

We really enjoy our privacy and our studio apartment and second room offer plenty of that plus comfort and a very convenient location. We really enjoy our guests and are happy to provide information about the area and we get interesting information from our guests' discoveries. Oscar the Cairn terrier is always ready with a wagging tail!

Perfect Moab accommodations for two!

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I stayed with Suzanne and Fritz (and Oscar!) in their guest studio. We had two private entrances into our space, one of which led to our private patio with a stunning view of the mountains. The queen bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was function. Suzanne had it stocked for breakfast with cereal, milk, bread, PB&J, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. There was ample parking space within their property just a few steps from our door. The bathroom has a nice shower, and she provided plenty of linens. There is a television with cable, however, we were too busy exploring to put that to use. There is also wifi available. Suzanne was quick to provide some of her favorite restaurants and hikes to us upon our asking which was helpful in finalizing our itinerary. Overall, this was the perfect place for us to stay, being in a great location outside of the city of Moab and within a reasonable distance to the Needles and Island in the Sky entrances along with Arches and Dead Horse Point. A cozy, clean place to call home for a few days!

Owner's Response: Thank you both for staying with us.. you were up early and gone every day taking advantage of all there is to do in Moab. I hope you had lots of fun! I though you two were the nicest most gracious guests we could ask for and you left the room immaculate. Furthermore every time I saw you there were big grins on your pretty faces. We would love to have you come back. Suzanne

A wonderful spot a few miles out of town. Great views and a perfect place to wind down after hiking

  • 5 of 5

A top notch place to stay in Moab. Far enough away from downtown with all you need (great outside patio and all the comforts to make your stay memorable). A 4 point mule deer a few feet away as we sipped morning joe.

Moab is in the center of the red rock beauty of Southeast Utah. We are minutes away from Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park. All are a short drive away. Moab is a recreational Mecca. The Colorado river runs through the north side of town and offers peaceful tours through its many canyons or for the more adventurous wild world class Rapids. Biking, jeeping ,canyoneering and you name it are all centered here.

At the end of a long, adventurous day our peaceful, cool covered porch offers amazing sunset views.
