Damage and incidentals
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property that is caused by you or your party during your stay.
Property is very nice and interestingly quirky but it really doesn`t afford any view from the inside
Stunning property in a lovely location
The Cider Tower is even more impressive than in the photos! The property really is unique and was a wonderful place to stay. Location on the edge of Kirkcudbright was excellent and is an easy walk into town. Kirkcudbright itself is lovely. Cake on arrival was delicious-thanks Patsy 😀
Stunning accommodation with a stunning view!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cider tower! A warm welcome awaits and, because of the Christmas break, there was home made mince pies and a warming cup of tea! Scrumptious! Perfect property in a perfect location. Can only describe the tower as simply stunning! Thank you for allowing us to stay! We'll be back!
Thank you for your lovely review. Sorry we did not get to meet you but our festive season has been jam packed with entertaining and then tidying up!!
Hopefully get to meet you on your next visit.

Absolutely loved our week stay in the Cider Tower. Such a warm, cosy and inviting place to return to after a day out walking in the beautiful surrounding area. It’s the ultimate place to chill out away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. There is everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Big bonus is it’s dog friendly too!
Thank you for your lovely review and for leaving the Tower so tidy - it really helps!!
8 days in heaven
We can honestly say this was the best all round property we have stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a lot! Photos definitely don't do justice to the space in the cider tower. The kitchen was so well equipped, and tea and cake tray ready for arrival was perfect. Great walks for the dog nearby, short walk into fab little town, the views over the countryside to the bay were just the icing on the cake.
Amazing to have all this, and dog friendly too. Patsy and Alan really have thought of everything... we can't wait to go back very soon, this will certainly be our regular Scottish escape. :)
Thank you very much for your super review. WE think Kirkcudbright and the surrounding area are fantastic and that the Tower is in the ideal position too!!

Out and About
Galloway is known as “Scotland in miniature” and has something for everyone. The area is great for hill and coastal walking, fishing, golf and cycling. The ancient town of Kirkcudbright, a Royal Burgh since 1455, is historically very interesting and has a ruined castle, working harbour, museum and attractive High Street. There are also a number of independent shops and cafes. The town is known as “The Artist’s Town” having been home to EA Hornel, Jessie M King, EA Taylor and their friends in the last century. There are regular summer exhibitions and two permanent art galleries in the town. There is also a comprehensive programme of events throughout the spring and summer. (http://www.kirkcudbright.town/calendar/).
There are numerous gardens and places of interest within easy reach, including Threave and Logan Botanical Gardens.
You will find local information , maps and guides in The Tower to help you plan your stay. Or you may just want to sit outside on the patio with a glass of wine and admire the view!
