Holiday Home in Bideford, North Devon, England - Very Quiet Country Location

Crooked Lake is everything you would hope for in a quiet, Devon cottage. This secluded 17th century stone cottage is tucked away in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, yet is only 15 minutes from the bustling North Devon town of Bideford and 20 minutes from the glorious North Devon beaches.

The cottage is deceptively spacious inside with separate dining-room, lounge, conservatory and kitchen. Upstairs has been beautifully decorated, with 3 bedrooms, one master with en-suite, a twin and a single bedroom; plus a charming family bathroom.

The cottage is full of quaint original features like the pretty shutters with cut-out heart shapes and the wonderful open fireplaces.

Outside there is plenty of space in the stunning gardens. At the rear of the cottage is an attractive enclosed garden complete with a babbling stream and small wooden bridge, perfect for children to play and explore in complete safety. There is a host of local wildlife with regular visits from four and two legged creatures to the garden from the adjoining wood.

Not The Best.

No mobile signals in area. TV reception non existent for the full weeks stay Caretaker blamed this on the trees. Very dangerous entry from parking space onto main road. Door openings to low ,most were only 4ft 6ins , 5ft at most, ceiling beam in living room same, Very dangerous, came away with bumps and bruises to the head . Not recommended for 5ft-6in people
