About this property

A self contained apartment on the first floor within a beautifully restored farmhouse retaining original faetures such as chestnut beams, cotto tiles & original stonework.
The apartment is composed by: 2 big bedrooms with king size double bed (can become 2 singles) with view to the garden or in the landscape.. The well equipped kitchen forms part of the light and airy high beamed ceiling living area. Beside the kitchen is a lounging area with a large l-shaped sofa. Bathroom with shower.
The apartment has it's own dedicated large terrace. It is paved with cotto, it is equipped with umbrella, table and chairs. There is a barbecue in the garden next to the terrace.

The apartment is located 5km from the nearest town, Greve in Chianti. Furthermore, we are located exactly halfway between Florence and Siena (35km of distance). Finally, you can visit most of the most beautiful towns of Tuscany such as San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra ect.

Comfortable apartment & great location for seeing Chianti

We visited late Sept. Angelika and Basim made us very welcome from the start, giving us ideas of where to go and where to eat. It was enjoyable chatting to them both and they added to the enjoyment of our stay...Thankyou ! The apartment is clean and comfortable, and the location is peaceful and has beautiful views. Great watching the sunsets. You can walk through the countryside from the front door. The location is great for visiting the Chianti region, a 10min drive into Greve where there is a selection of restaurants and cafes. There are many other fascinating villages within easy reach and Sienna and Florence are nearby for a day trip.

Wundervolle Tage in der Toskana

Wir verbrachten dort 5 wunderbare Tage im Mai. Mit unserer Unterkunft waren wir mehr als zufrieden! Die sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung war tiptop sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Die Betten groß und bequem. Im romantischen Garten und auf der bezaubernden Terrasse des Hauses könnte man den ganzen Tag verbringen und die atemberaubende Aussicht über die Chianti-Hügel genießen. Die reizenden und sehr hilfsbereiten Gastgeber sind mit der Geschichte und den Besonderheiten ihrer Umgebung sehr vertraut und geben so viele gute Insider-Tips für Ausflüge, Besichtigungen, Restaurantbesuche, Vinotheken , Einkäufe..., dass man sich doch auf den Weg macht. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend für Tagesausflüge. Am Ende des Tages waren wir dann froh, in unsere ruhige Oase auf dem Hügel zurückzukommen. Toller Urlaub in Chianti

Wir waren als Gruppe junger Studenten für eine Woche bei Angelika und es hat uns super gefallen! Die Wohnung ist toll eingerichtet und liegt auf einem Weinberg mit schönem Ausblick, sodass es auch bei etwas wärmeren Temperaturen noch angenehm ist. Angelika hat uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben und war rundum sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung ist zwar etwas abgelegen, aber für einen ruhigen Urlaub perfekt und Angelika hilft gerne bei allen Arten von Anliegen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit, vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!
