Converted from old farm buildings this fabulous building is great for Arundel and Chichester. With secure parking it is also popular with guests attending Goodwood. There is an 'L' shaped lounge and kitchen with a feature fireplace and wood burner. Throughout their is under floor heating. The two bedrooms sit at opposite ends of the accommodation. The principal bedroom has a king sized bed and full ensuite bathroom with both a bath and walk in shower area. The second bedroom has twin beds and an ensuite shower room.
Outside there is a private area with patio and space to park two to three cars securely.
The Stables are approximately mid way between Arundel and Chichester and less than a mile from Fontwell Races. Arundel is a majestic market town made famous by both the Castle, ancestral home to the Dukes of Norfolk, and the cathedral. Both are imposing sites in the town that welcome many visitors. The River Arun flows through the town offering local boat trips. Arundel Wetland Centre is also worth a visit and also the grounds within Arundel Park. Overall it's a great location for visiting the South Downs, the beaches at Littlehampton and Climping and the city of Chichester.
The Stables is a really comfortable, modern yet traditional space. It is clear that no expense has been spared on bringing this old building back to life. It is quite luxurious, so much so my son wanted to stay forever! We've never felt so spoilt in terms of facilities. Our host was also very welcoming and provided those little touches that make you feel special. A bottle of wine, the local paper, milk in the fridge and some biscuits awaited us on arrival. Everything you need for a self-catering holiday is provided, including things like washing up liquid, tea towels, bin liners, tin foil etc. which are those niggly things that are a pain to have to go out and buy because you only use a little. The location is excellent for exploring the beach or the South Downs national park. Underfloor heating and a cosy log burner complete with logs make The Stables great for a winter stay and I'm sure with the outside seating area, it would be equally great in the summer.
We had a very comfortable and relaxed time here, with everything we needed. It was well equipped and even came with a bottle of prosecco a pint of milk and chocolates. The fire place was amazing and made the whole experience more cosy.
Brilliant stay, everything we needed and more! Was a lovely place, with a nice private courtyard with own gateway into the property, all enclosed so the kids were safe. Great space with lots of storage so you could put things away just a home from home place, We would recommend this property to anyone. It was nice being so close to family and nice to have enough room to have family round to celebrate our sons 1st birthday! Owners were lovely we would go again in a heartbeat!
