A good sized, well equipped villa on the edge of a popular Luberon village

A great, air conditioned property, set in a beautiful garden which is packed full of lovely flowers.

There are three bedrooms and plenty of space both inside and outside, with a shaded terrace and large garden with a lovely swimming pool.

It’s set in the beautiful Luberon national park but is just outside the hilltop village of Bonnieux with a great view to the Château of La Coste.

Peace and quiet is the key here, with the amenities of a good sized village only a couple of km up the quiet country road

The village of Bonnieux has a rich and varied history and is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Luberon.

In summer the village is really popular and therefore has some great restaurants and cafés. Although not very big, it has some useful and interesting shops, including bakers, butchers, grocery, pharmacy, post office and tourist information centre. There's also a local market on a Friday.

The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Maubec) on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments!

Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 15 minutes away.

There's loads to do and see in this area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence.

If activity is your thing, this area is perfect for climbing, cycling, mountain biking, trekking, golf, tennis and swimming.

We have now just returned from a fantastic week at Villa St Fluerie and wanted to thank you for all the great assistance we received, not one from yourselves but also from the owners of the Villa. I have gone ahead and written a comprehensive and glowing review on Trip Advisor that I believe will be published within a week. Saying that, however glowing I write a review, it still does not cover how absolutely perfect our holiday accommodation was and how much we enjoyed ourselves. In particular the garden is exactly as you describe and would not look out of place in an edition of Gardeners World.

We were hoping to target Tuscany next year but may end up re-visiting St Fluerie instead.

The living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa, TV and stereo system, as well as dining facilities for the occupants. There is a mezzanine level above the living area, giving is an airy, spacious, feel. The kitchen is well equipped with pretty much everything that you will need; oven, microwave, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and all the crockery and utensils that you’ll need for six people. The garden here is a real treat! The owner is a self-confessed flower lover and it certainly shows. Even in October, the garden is brimming with flowers. There is a covered terrace and BBQ, allowing you to enjoy the long, warm, evenings. There’s also plenty of private parking. The private swimming pool measures 10m x 5m, and comes with all the furniture you’d expect to allow you to lounge about, basking in the sunshine, all day! A cot and high chair is available on request, so please let us know if you need either.

On arrival this property had the Wow factor. We stayed for 2 weeks and did not want to leave. Owners live next door and are very helpful. Lovely couple.

Beautiful Property in a dream location

We were initially met by the owner clutching 2 bottles of wine as a welcome gift. After such a good start, we couldn't fail to be impressed. The house was well decorated, the kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. The owners could not have been more helpful, we will definitely return in the future.
