Once the music studio of Sir Edward Elgar when he lived in Fittleworth. This studio is located in the depths of the woods in Bedham and offers unique accommodation. Don't expect luxury just a different experience through setting and the history of the building. The property will accommodate a maximum of five adults in comfort and up to eight if there are children in the party. As it sits on a steep wooded slope we would not recommend this to anyone with a young family or older guests who struggle with steps and slopes.
There are four bedrooms in total however three are only suitable for adults. The kitchen has a traditional aga as the only means of cooking. The grounds are on a steep gradient and are very wooded.
Just east of Petwoth, Petworth House is only three miles away. Cowdray Park and Midhurst are also nearby. At the top of the South Downs National Park because of the beauty of the area. Pulborough Brooks part of the RSPB are within a fifteen minute drive and Parham House and Gardens are not much further.
