Leading off the main lounge by double glass doors takes you into the light and airy sun room with feature glass windows and doors which take you out onto the roof terrace. The room has solid oak wood floors, with large cosy chair and sofa. This space is perfect for relaxing with a morning cup of coffee, reading a book or just for taking in the countryside views. The outdoor terrace provides a table and chairs and external lighting. Ideal for alfresco dining or for a glass of wine while star gazing.

As you can see from the gallery photos, the house has a traditional cottage feel whilst still maintaining a light and airy ambiance

The house is fully central heated and double glazed to ensure the property remains warm and cosy.

There are outside security lights and key safe. Unfortunately, the property is not suitable for wheelchairs due to the number of internal and external steps to the property.

As the property is a second family home, it is always treated and maintained to the highest standards. We trust you will look after the property during your stay.

The house has a strict no smoking policy. Pets will be considered at the owners discretion, please contact them directly.

Lovely Accommodation - Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time staying at the The Old Workshop. Upon entering the cottage it immediately felt homely. Thoughtful added touches were provided which made all of the difference. Milk, Orange Juice, Biscuits, Prosecco, Travel Cot, Highchair and a lovely card welcoming us on our Holiday. The cottage is also fully equipped with all you could possibly require on a holiday and more.

The property itself was easy to find and is in a quiet location with a great local pub (The Plough) a short distance away.

In a great location to fully explore the lakes and surrounding areas.

Overall would definitely recommend to others and would like to return myself at some point.

Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!
