Characterful, classical family vacation home in the quiet heart of Knightsbridge, within easy walking distance of Harrods and Hyde Park.
Living & Eating
As you enter the home, you are greeted by double reception rooms with comfortable seating, wall mounted TV and a fireplace. These rooms lead through to the dining room and then then the fully fitted kitchen. The home benefits from two further living areas: a TV room/study on the second floor and a wonderful, bright conservatory living room on the top floor opening onto a roof deck with outside seating.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The home has 3 double bedrooms, one of which is configurable as a twin room. The first floor accommodates the master bedroom and a large family bathroom with bath, and also, down some steps, a further bathroom with shower stall and separate utility room. The second floor has two further bedrooms.
Access & Layout
This home is set over four floors and is accessed at street level. There is no elevator.

We couldn't believe this find - we saw it earlier in the year listed with another agency for almost £70 more a night, so were quick to book when we saw it on Ivy Lettings for less. It was like a venetian palace and we couldn't believe we had it to ourselves (my wife and I and two other couples) for the week. Not in the very centre of town but only 1 stop from waterloo which worked fine for our trips to the Southbank and to East London on the Northern line from Waterloo. An exceptionally good value property. We'd also like to mention the service: Alice looked after us from the beginning of our rental search throughout the time we stayed in London. Would definitely recommend Ivy Lettings and the team.
Two blocks north is Kensington Park and two blocks south is Brompton Road (Harrods)...just 5 mins to the tube. Very close to V&A Museum. QUIET--couldn't hear any noise whatsoever. Great roof terrace, but flowers up there were pretty much dead (we are gardeners: tried to prune and water). We called this, "the house of many stairs": the up/down will drive you crazy since the kitchen is at the very lowest level and the terrace (the only outside space) is up so many twisty turny flights. Anyway, but for mold in one of the bathrooms, everything worked well including laundry and wifi. Thank God 2nd bdrm had a sink because its bathroom is 2 flights down. I would love to come back and be the designer for the update, which the house needs. Could be a show-stopper, but...
This home benefits from an unbeatable location on a quiet residential street but moments from one of London’s most iconic streets, Knightsbridge. Harrods and Harvey Nichols are within 5 minutes walk, as is Hyde Park. Slightly further but within easy reach still are the V&A, Natural History and Science Museums, and South Ken. Dining options for all budgets are on your doorstep, not to mention a world of retail and culture.
