My fiance and I booked this apartment for my fiance's family to stay in for our wedding week. The apartment was great, beautiful location and the owners were very easy to work with. We would highly recommend!

unfortunately we never saw owners Maria or Antonio only Gonzalo who spoke poor English

We had to wash all the cutlery and cups and glasses when we arrived as they were all dirty

a dirty smelly towel had been left in one on the wardrobes it smelt disgusting I have no idea what was on it but we threw it outside. The pictures make the apartment look very big but it isn't atall. When Gonzalo came to check us out he never looked or checked for damages and when I asked for my returnable damage deposit there was a problem with the transfer and I had to wait until the following week for it to go back into my account. Gonzalo also smelt of alcohol which was unprofessional for 10 am.

overall quite disappointing although Barcelona itself was lovely and we had a great time whilst we were out.

Owner's Response: Dear Amanda, We deeply regret your bad experience during your stay. We have to say that our cleaners had to rush in their job as we accepted your early check in so couldn’t spend the standard time for cleaning and changing bedsheets and towels. We have warned them to pay more attention in future. An important point is that cutlery, glasses and dishes were just out of the dishwasher so might be only the final check was missing but were safe to use them. Gonzalo, the person who made your check in and out, spend part of the night before check in in hospital due to an accident. You probably could see the five stitches in his face due to this reason. Anyway, if he had no physical conditions to do the check out job he should tell us and we would come immediately to say good by to you. Gonzalo will not work again for us. The credit card machine had a technical problem and therefore was not possible to return your damage deposit immediately, as usual. We made a bank transfer instead which took longer due to the standard procedures. Needless to say that we paid a heavy bank charge for this. We insist we regret you suffered so many unusual troubles and we have arranged to avoid them in future.

Location, Location

This apartment is in a great location, the patio is a bonus to sit outside and look at the view after a full day of exploring the city, several food markets and restaurants close by, metro is 10-15 walk to city center. Very easy to get around. Leticia, was very helpful on our arrival, and arranging for our taxi to airport. We would stay there again.

Cozy quarters, lovely terrace, quiet neighborhood

Our family of four enjoyed our week in Barcelona with this lovely apt as our home base. Outside the busy/noisy city center but convenient to train and bus lines. Marc was an excellent host and made check in/check out a breeze. And it is so nice to have the terrace for warm days. All the beds are twin size so this location is good with kids or friends.

Functional & comfortable!

We were a family of six that included three teenagers; we felt comfortable and cozy in this penthouse apartment.

The building is very accessible by public transit. The bus stops in less than 100-feet from the building and it will take you on a 5-min ride to Maria Cristina Metro Station. You could walk three blocks in the opposite direction to Las Tres Torres Metro Station. There were many small grocery stores around to purchase basic food needs or you could order food delivered. This apartment is atop a 6-storey building so it gets good air circulation and natural light. The terrace gave us a nice view of the mountain.

The elevator is small so one has to be careful nothing blocks the door when it closes automatically, otherwise the door will jam; the owners saw it got repaired quickly. It was a pleasure to deal with the owners - Maria and Antonio. They keep their property is good state and very clean; they responded to our queries quickly and ensured we felt comfortable. This was far better than staying in a hotel as it will make you feel at home. I highly recommend this property.

Appartement situé dans un quartier calme, appréciable après une journée dans l'agitation de Barcelone! Bien équipé, avec une super terrasse, il se trouve à proximité du métro, le must !! Très bon accueil et très bon séjour à Barcelone !
