Super séjour à Iskele

Bonjour,

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet appartement très propre. Résidence très bien entretenue, personnel vraiment gentil. Les enfants adorent la piscine. Très bonne situation au calme et proche de toutes les comodités en voiture.

Iskele is situation on the edge of the Famagusta bay area, boasting 13 miles of natural sandy beaches. Fish and traditional turkish restaurants adorn the coast line whilst offering great value for money.

For the fitness fanatic: A purpose built flood lit running track includes outdoor gym equipment and also children's play centre offering the best of both worlds. You and your family can all have fun at the same time, whilst being literally a stones throw from the beach. In late afternoon you will see many locals walking for their daily exercise fix.

For the explorer: Why not take a look at the local ruins close by or drive through the mountains to Kyrenia and see the harbour and surrounding town. A trip to the edge of ghost town (Varosha) is highly recommended followed by lunch inside the old town walls.

For the foodie: Visit the fishing harbour situated about 5 minutes drive away in Bogaz. You can literally grab a bite to eat right on the beach and at night feed the fish under floodlight.

Road trips: A road trip to Karpaz (Panhandle) can be fun with plenty of sight seeing on the way. You can always stop in at the man made marina and take a look around, visit the donkey sanctuary and local market before taking a well deserved rest at Hassan’s Turtle Beach. The only beach in Norther Cyprus where the turtles hatch. You can expect a long stretch of sand with a dunal system and clear blue water. Stop in at the cafe and talk to Hassan about his conservation project.

Children: Are welcome everywhere and the locals go out of their way to say hello and make a fuss of them. Some supermarkets and restaurants have their play areas to keep them amused whilst the parents eat or shop.

This part of the island possesses all the elements of a perfect holiday location, including small sandy beaches that rank high on the list of some of Europe's best. Cyprus enjoys more sunshine than any other Mediterranean resort - typically 340 days of sunshine a year.
