Charming Arts and crafts 2 bed home. Wifi. Garden. Overlooking playing fields.

Property type house

About the property

This lovely house has been my home for over 20 years. It has been recently redecorated throughout with a new bathroom in 2013.

Our home offers a peaceful sanctuary from which to enter the hassle and bustle of London. Ealing Broadway is a transport hub, with trains to Central London, Heathrow, Oxford and Windsor. There are 2 underground lines takes you straight through the middle of London.

There are 2 double bedrooms. One is spacious, the other perfect for one, cosy for a couple!

A lovely farmhouse kitchen with large kitchen table leads into the conservatory, which we also use for dining. The sitting room has a 3 seat sofa and a 2 seat sofa. A 32" TV with cable TV (Virgin). We have fibre optic wifi. There is a coal effect gas fire if the evening turns chilly. There is also a reading room / study overlooking the back garden.

This is a good home for one or two couples, or a small family. Sadly, It is not suitable for large families, nor would it be safe for babies or young children.

It is our home - so it is well equipped with everything you need.

About The Owner

I am a psychotherapist and share the house with my partner, Paul. He teaches Argentine Tango and Ballroom and Latin American dancing. We love to travel together and we have used Owner's Direct for a number of our holidays. We have loved staying in other people's homes and so we thought it was time to share ours.

The Owner purchased this house in 1992

Why The Owner chose Hanger Hill

I was looking for a property in this area, because it is very pretty and safe. It is a conservation area with a village feel. There is a strong, friendly community and great local independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Our local high street was voted London's Best High Street this year.... When I walked into this property, it was light and airy with a pretty conservatory leading from the kitchen.

What makes this house unique

A cosy home within easy reach of London - but with a relaxed and leafy environment.

Gorgeous period property in beautiful location!

  • 5 of 5

As a family of four we had a fantastic stay at this lovely house. The house was spotless with great facilities and a tranquil garden to relax in. It is located on a peaceful street and only a 5 min walk to Pitshanger Lane which was crowned best High Street in London with lovely restaurants, butcher, baker, Co-op & pub. It is only a 15 walk to the tube & overground stations. We would highly recommend staying here, great base for exploring London and a quiet retreat to return to. Thanks Lynne for letting us stay in your beautiful home....we hope to be back soon! Marina, Tony & boys
