Four days in France
We are five 30 year olds from London and the biggest question on our lips is - why did we only book to stay here for four days?! We didn't want to leave this beautiful house at all!
The owners, Jane and Michael, were so helpful providing us on information about the area and stopping to chat with us. They also live on site but we didn't feel crowded by them and it was useful to have them around should something have gone wrong. They also have the most wonderful pets who were so friendly.
When we arrived we walked through the house taking in the beauty of the surroundings and reveling in the quiet of the french countryside. The rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious and the kitchen well stocked with utensils. The veranda is where we spent most of our time, sitting out for breakfast and a BBQ in the evening where the location of the house offers a beautiful sunset every night.
There is no pool but we found the nearby swimming lake in Blasimon satisfied, and although the location of the house is rural the village of Pellegrue is only a 10 minute drive away with a decent supermarket.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the region and plan to return!

Stunning property in peaceful location!
Jane Michael's home has captivated our hearts and souls. We fell in love with this place and its pets. So much so that we'll come back in 2016 and we can't wait to live here again. The location is picture-perfect - nestled amongst vineyards and farmland in the Bordeaux region... only 1 hour East of Bordeaux, and easily reachable by train or car.
Pellegrue is an enchanting town with a decent supermarket (small, but you can get anything you want and need), a post office, two banks, weekly markets and much more. Nearby are plenty of towns with markets to please everyone's hearts.
We loved living here and enjoyed the pleasant & mild weather.
Thanks you Jane & Michael. You truly have created a paradisiacal setting.
